it's so common in spain to give natural names to people. names such as Alba (dawn), Mar (sea), Luna (Moon), Estrella, Estel (Star), Iris... are the most common ones. i think the names comin' from nature are the most beautiful ones, don't you think?

Yep, I am truly a horrible person :) How dare I pick my kids names lol!

I think I'd let my kids oick their own names when they got a bit older though. Like I said, a name is like clothing, you can grow out of it!

    I love you all!
Peace, love and hugs wished your way

I've been to Nyika Plateau, though on the Malawi side. It's a beautiful place. Why did your parents pick that name - do they have a connection with that part of the world?

My Dad used to live in South Africa, and was going to be called it himself if he had been a girl.l When they had me, they looked back at the name on the map and decided on it.

My names Zabedah, dunno if its a hippie name or not, my mum was hippy-esque. I don't mind my name, but nobody calls me it because its slightly more difficult than generic western names. So I get called Sped because it sounds like Zabedah > Spedah > Sped
