Hi all,

I am Joseph. I am not from the U.K. However, I do consider myself an Anglophile. I have never been to England, but hope visit someday. I have yet to meet anyone from the U.K. that I did not like.

I work as a mechanical designer for a think tank in California. I am into music (All kinds of music.), Action, SciFi, and Fantasy movies, computers, and have fun. <(^o^)>

 

I am new to the UK just moved here from NJ, USA in May to be with my hubby. I love it here but I have no connections and no real likeminded friends would love to meet some new people.

Hello I did actually post this in the other intro thingy but I do it again here.....Im a 27 yr old crochet loving,hula hooping,charity shop mooching,vegan eating,flute playing dreadlocked hippy mum.With a load of animals and a purple bike.
Im from the midlands (u.k). I have not had internet connection at my gaff for 3 years so Im kinda going online crazy and came across this very interesting site and had lots I wanted to read and post in the craft section,amonst others too.

Hi, i'm Rachel, 21 from Scotland. I'm garduating in May with an M.A in Literary Studies. Not sure what to do after University's over, would love to travel and continue to live the student dream. I could never see myself in a typical 9-5 job, my ambitions do not include buying my own car, buying a flat etc. I joined to meet like mided people and have a bit of fun.

When I last posted I was moaning that I wouldn't be around much longer because I could only post from work, and I was probably about to get fired.

As it's about 4 months since my last post, well, you can probably guess what happened.

Still I'm back in a new job. Working nights at a hotel.

Oh, and they stopped everyone from using the computers since they were using facebook instead of working. So they are all password protected now.

Fortunately I'm unsupervised and am pretty good at hacking passwords.

Hello to all! Another UK newcomer here. Well, newcomer in inverted commas as I was on these forums a couple of years ago, but my stuff from them is now lost in the mists of my memory.

Not the only thing that has gotten lost too, and that's mainly why I'm here. I want to find parts of myself that seem to have been eroded by the passage of my life. I'm not sure I like the look of where I'm heading either so the time is right to try and fix it.

As for the boring stuff, well, I'm a guy, 33 years old although I currently feel much older!

Think that's about it for now, but as said, hello to all and it's nice to 'meet' you!

Great pub, good live music pretty much every night, and cheap (for Cambridge) drinks.

If you want a good goth night that's not packed with tourists go to The Calling at Kambar
