Hip Forums vs Facebook

I know. I'm missing out on easy girls because I made a facebook account drunk and can't remember my password...

 

I use both for entirely the same reason...

two things do not have to be the same to compare them. you can still like one over the other for whatever reason.

 

i'm not on facebook, and have no motivation to join it. can't even imagine a motivation to join it. not out of good or bad. just not something i can see any point in.

Apples & Oranges is probably the right answer. I like Hip Forums. I can discuss ANY topic. Talk to like minded people whom I've never met and get new insights. If I want to find out where my 1st grade teacher is now - probably facebook is the forum.

I have not really used facebook for many reasons. My children do use it and enjoy it. I do find though that there does seem at times to be drama involved with it but that could also be in part the age group of my children.

As a social network tool, it is rather hard to beat it. Given that you wish to network with people you actually probably lost touch with for a reason.

 

I'm only still there because it's a good way to keep up to date with bands, tour dates and stuff. I am going to move all my photos to another host site eventually and leave it though, when it starts become unhip and google+ takes over, not that that will be any better.

They just sent me a warning that one of my posts has been removed or something, but I have no idea what it is, probably something to do with them scumbags Kro It Solutions, I recently went on a rampage on their group because they were refusing to remove the libelous remarks about me, but they have been taken down now so all that is left to do now is sue their asses for copyright infringement.

So yeah I'm a bit pissed off at receiving a warning from them about all this, it is they who should be getting a warning, a banning in fact would be more appropriate if you ask me. Also the fact they wont specify what it is I am getting a warning about????

They don't respond to any of my complaints about Kro, and now this! I hope it is for posting that shooting stars clip "The King's Peach" where Vic says "bollocks" at the end.
