  1. You shouldn't bring 9/11 into this thread where we can't debate you on the specifics. But the fact that burning jet fuel can cause steel to bend is not a sufficient explanation for the events of that day. Not by a long shot.

Why am I always being drug through the dirt? So you're saying it's just assumed that I'm some kind of community leper who doesn't have much to add to the conversation? I'm some kind of moron who shouldn't be showing anyone up?

I agree, some of this gets really petty. But there is good reason to be highly wary of Hillary Clinton. She is an oligarch, no question, and this oligarchy is a clear and present danger to us all. If not a physical danger, which it may well prove to be, then a danger to the soul of man, which is just as much if not more of a threat.

    Oh, the imaginary seizures

She pauses to think about her response, and that's a seizure

Hope none of you work in the nursing home I'm in, in 30,40 years, get asked what I want for breakfast, take more than 3 seconds to decide, OMG he is having a seizure, break out the defibrillator

No I didn't say you have not much to add and I didn't even think that. I agree that you guys shouldn't want Clinton and you brought up good points of the why and how. Overall you were actually one of the more constructive criticizers, but because you went of on a tangent several times, ruining things with your wording or out of anger or something (just saying how it looks) is what made me say 'if neon is (one of) the most constructive criticizers in this thread what does that say about all the other ones huh? :p
I have the feeling some read in that post of mine that I want you guys to support Clinton now or something.... I hope you understand that is not the case at all. You americans already ruined this election cycle if you ask me. It's the fault of the american citizenry just as much as of the political system that America is left with these pitiful choices.

That a lot of people in this thread are whiny know it alls without doing anything about it or even thinking about how to change things for the better (some reasons more pathetic than the other), basically making their claim that your country is in an inevitable downward spiral anyway a self fulfilling prophecy is what is just as atrocious to me as this nasty political system you guys have that does not seem to be working for a huge amount of the people there for years. I rather take notice of people like you then anyday :p

I guess it is supposed to be. And is it? If so, who/what does it represent the most/the strongest :p

And why all that talk about democracy then? All bogus?

    edit: spelling

In a Direct Democracy every citizen gets one vote on every issue.
    We have a Representative Democracy.

We have one vote to elect representatives who then vote on the issues.
We can't open our Presidential ballots or elect our President by Direct Democracy. We have an Electoral College for the precise reason that a Direct Democracy was deemed dangerous by our founders.

The term Democracy gets thrown about without regard for the different types of Democracy, of which there are several.

Who or what gets the most representation is debatable.

Boy, if I'm ever brought up on charges for anything, I want you on my jury. But my guess is that if my name isn't Hillary, you'd probably see clearly.

"We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial email accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account. We also assess that Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email domain was both known by a large number of people and readily apparent."

"She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related emails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries. Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton's personal email account."

Douglas Cox, a law professor at City University of New York who studies records preservation said that the argument that Clinton complied with the letter and spirit of the law is unsustainable. He said that the fact that Clinton's staff--rather than a State Department federal records officer--chose which emails to destroy is "honestly breathtaking." Her private employees don't have the authority to decide what does or doesn't count as a federal record. Further, when she was making these choices, she was acting as a private citizen, not a government employee.

I've seen this issue of aircraft fuel, essentially kerosene, being "unable to melt steel" popping up a lot lately. Yes, if you fill a steel bowl with jet fuel and light it, the bowl will not melt. Which proves almost nothing.

Consider that over 70% of the air sucked in by a jet engine is not used for combustion, it's used for cooling. If you don't pump cooling air into a jet engine, the steel components will heat up, soften, distort and many of them will indeed melt. Forced air makes even benign fuel hotter. There are furnaces used in power production that can even use cement blocks as fuel.

The building where this debate originates had a fuel-laden aircraft crash it it above the midpoint. The flames and heat rising would have formed a vacuum, pulling air upward, through the building to feed the fires. This chimney effect would have been feeding dense, cooler ground-level air to the fire, driving the combustion temperature upward. Especially as liquid fuel fell downward through the rising air, it would have atomized within 20 feet or so.

Since the steel in the building is under load, it doesn't have to be heated to the melting point to fail. It only has to get hot enough to distort, not even red, then the weight on top will do the rest of the work.

But this is all a distraction. I try to stay focused on the man who turned American prisons into a growth industry, Bill Clinton. Anyone who doesn't think he'll be deeply involved in Hillary's administration are deluded. They're a package deal and always have been. They even have Chelsea lying about marijuana now!

I don't think most people realize how easy it is to get sucked into the "justice" system. I learned recently that Alabama, the whole freakin state, issues an arrest warrant for anyone who writes a bad check. Sounds tough, but not horrible right? Turns out, they put whomever's name is on the account in jail. Lost or stolen checks don't matter, if your name is on the check, YOU go to jail. YOU get an arrest record. YOU have to pay court costs even if they can plainly see that you didn't write it and don't even have a Nike hat.

A traffic stop can be ramped up all kinds of ways. Instead of just a minor speeding ticket, you might drive away others including a ticket for a bad tail light, tire tread bars showing, tiny chip on windshield. And God help you if you try to file a harassment complaint. Do that and you'll meet all of that cop's buddies, as they follow you around and give you tickets for minor crap. Or they just go for the big one and plant dope on you, it's SO easy. And this is just traffic court, and yet, you can be bankrupted by it.

If you somehow run afoul of the family courts, which can even result from being falsely reported, they will make you just through all kinds of hoops to keep them from taking your children. Each hoop (crap like therapy, boring classes and group meetings) putting your family more and more out of business financially. After all, once you go broke, you can't care for the kids, so away they go to foster care.

The only smart play is to stay off the radar of the legal system. There is almost no way to approach it that doesn't cost you money. Once your "value" has been determined, the system will bleed you dry. Small business owners can tell you all about it too.

    Everything perfectly normal here!

Again, nobody is contesting whether or not burning jet fuel can weaken steel. This does not explain the events of that day. Jets crashing into two buildings which were designed to withstand such things as passenger jets crashing into them does not explain why three buildings experienced total collapse at or nearing free fall speed with no measurable resistance from the lower floors which made up the bulk of the buildings. That's not how physics works.

Of course, it would be helpful if an investigation into the collapse had been performed where we could have known for certain if steel beams had even buckled, but, for some peculiar reason, all of the evidence was quickly trucked away and disposed of with no inspection whatsoever.

I do not know about Hillary's conditon...weird body movements, expressions, etc. I never really watched or studied her., I am really not that interested in politics, quite frankly...i blank out when any President or politician ever speaks.....except for Bernie....I just want the least amount of damage to be done to this world. but I watched the video you posted here Neon...and found these two off shoots. It does make one wonder, and if this is all going on with her.....for really...as in this world it is hard to know fact from rumor...it would seem to be only fair of her to hand the leading mallet over to bernie....Yes, he is old...but he shows no signs of dieing anytime soon....being hospitalized soon or anything. I find this all rather sad and disturbing. I don't wish anyone dead...not even trump.....though.

The whole reason he's pushing grandma in front of the train is so he can get back to the white house and remodel the bondage room. I really can't wait to hear about all the shit that happens once he's back in the saddle.

WTC was built in the 70s. Architect had no idea about planes 30 years later, or even exactly what a jetliner at the time would have done as no one had done a real world test.

What all of it really tells us, is there are many buildings standing today that would suffer the same fate.

And that 99.9% of people in their respective fields still don't know shit.

Just becuase the architect acts like he knows what he is talking about, doesn't mean he does.

Just becuase some guys spends 4 years getting a structural engineering degree at uni, still doesn't mean he's not a twit.

The truth is a lot more scarier, before the WTC collapse, no one on the planet has any clue what would happen. And 15 years later there is still no one on the planet that can work out that equation

Go searching on the net for the temperature and pressure difference between 10,000 gallons of gallons of jet fuel ignited when stationary compared to travelling at close to mach 1

And you'll see what I mean.

It's something that's not just confined to building and construction, it's across all fields. It's not 99.9%, Its 100%. No one knows everything.

Aliens transported out all the steel frame buildings from Hiroshima just before the bomb or something. Or ships don't collapse when torpedoed in WW2, or all the steel framed building remianed standing in Dresden or London

9/11 was the first time a steel framed building collapsed from heat?

Where did you get that from? Some YouTube video?

  16. I'm just hoping WikiLeaks comes out with something, or if she is having seizures, she has a full blown episode between now and November. We sure are missing out on Bernie. He would have brought a healthy dose of sanity to this world.

The planes were designed to withstand 707s. A 767 is about 6 feet longer than a 707. If the towers could survive a 707, they could survive a 767. They were also designed to withstand a 707 carrying a much larger amount of fuel than the 767s were carrying. But I guess if you think architects and engineers have no idea what they're doing...

What 9/11 tells me is that people will believe just about anything if the actual truth is outlandish enough. Just watch a video of the people at the base of the towers -- their absolute astonishment when the towers begin to collapse. I'm right there with them, because it just defies common sense to me that two planes caused that much of a catastrophe.

I guess construction companies ought to research which buildings can be brought down by fire in the style of a controlled demolition. It'll save them some time and money.

We should really stop talking about this as we're way off topic.

The anti-Trump and pro-Hillary crowd seems to have a violence problem:

    http://www.prisonplanet.com/video-black-lives-matter-mob-surrounds-attacks-trump-supporter-for-wearing-maga-hat.html

    http://campusreform.org/?ID=8185

Seriously though, these are virtually identical to the Jim Crow fascists who instigated voter fear and intimidation tactics against voters of opposing parties. Seriously, if one more of these stories surfaces, I'm gonna get all my friends and family members in swing states to get aboard the Trump Train.
