hahaha rainbow geek, we parked next to you at the world gathering in quebec, we spoke many times about the different engines, I remember my wife was amazed at the stregth of the sister who choose to bare on the road.

nice to connect a post to a bus.

its funny in a way, my son elias zion was concived about the same time as you had a child....

life and movement just keeps happening.

thanks scattered leaves...im pretty stoked right now about it. hope fully we'll be able to connect the two buses in bc to caravan for a bit.

    peace

Wow! That's incredible, you were there! I was in a rather odd head space at that Gathering. Jolie and Kinoa0 (both the kids born at that Gathering) are incredible, mostly living on the land with us. Well if you ever manage to get past the border, come and see us!

read some of the older highway child threads, right after that gathering we circled the continent, then agaion in thc 8 a few years back..... dont have any imediate plans to travel south any time soon. where in nor cal are ya? im a big fan of willits all the hype was garberville, though willits did it for me. north of there though I realy liked, medford and ashland area was a pretty chill area..oh ...mount shasta ..yes yes mount shasta is definatly where its at in my books.

anyway, Im really glad to hear the babies are doing well. after that happened we travelled with our new born, he learned how to walk on thc 8 at 7 mnths.....
thats pretty cool though , that happeneing gave linz the confidence to travell with our children more indepth....

    thanks.

see how inspiration comes....we never know what by our actions we inspire in others.

    thanks man...

so the bus left montreal today they hit tam tam on sunday, against my advise there on their way to london, ( three of the tribes home town) the reason I advised them not too go to london cause its a hopme town. and their guard is down, in any other place they would be safe and be paranoid, in ones own town the guard is down and youwould park and go to places ytopu wouldnt ina bus in any othertown....but since its your own town you feelk safe....bet youve never taken a bus full of gypsies there huh?

so I was outvoted, which happens, not the first not the last......but Iget to say I tol;d you so if they get fucked!!~!!!!!

yeah not as much fun as I make it sound.

    wish the kidsluck

    peace...

from there therir headed here for a final tune up then headed west.l

    peace'

Hey! It's Alex from Freedom. We're in London now, just chillin. Montreal was Awesome, amazing city, picked up a few travellers, Kate and Nigel from Winnipeg, Frank from Guelph and John who we dropped off in Toronto. drove till 4 am this morning then ran out of gas and had to fly a can in the morning. Great feeling to have a full tank though.

Found a few problems with bus this morning, taking it back to Drew's as soon as possible though to fix some things up. But overall thigns are going great. Gotta go let Highway jesus post though. See ya soon drew

well it's been a great trip so far, took us awhile to get to montreal but we had plenty of fun on the way

montreal was the shit. we only got to stay for 3 days but we had an amazing time and met a ton of awesome people, 4 of which we took with us back into ontario. looks like 2 of them, frank and nigel, are sticking around with tribe and i'm really happy about that.

tamtam blew me away, we had the time of our lives there. makes me want to move to montreal some day.

after montreal we had to book it back to london to take care of some stuff. we stayed there for a couple days and then went back out to drew's. the bus is parked there now undergoing a few minor repairs while the rest of us are off doing our own things to raise some funds. we'll be starting the journey west aug 29 or 30. this is gonna be a long two weeks.. i miss the hell out of everyone already ;/

peace, cyas on the road :)

Hit a tiny bump in the road yesterday. Nigel had to go back to Winnipeg on a greyhound last night, dropped him off for the 8:30 bus and he'll arrive in his hometown on the 20th at 4 in the a.m. sooo.....we're gonna pick him up on the way through winnipeg and i guess his plan is to work while he's out there for his equal share and transfer the money down here.

the days are dragging on like no1 would ever believe right now, I miss our bus.Thinking of going down to hamilton for some work or to see if drew still needs some help, getting to comfortable in london :p. our day draws ever nearer, miss you all!see you soon!

    Peace, Alex

well apart from my personal conflicts with un named riders on this bus I am extremely happy to see how this group is staying together,

I am not comfortable with julia as the only driver however, and I have spoken to chevy about coming up and driving the bus. chevy is a bus momma, just as comfortable as I crawling under a bus on the side of a road and tearing shit up.

I do as well have issue that while the bus is equal share its not been equal, so far josh and alex have contributed their portions, and then some though the girls, upon boarding have contributed about 160 bucks. ......though their the shit at getting money on the road...they would have been doing so anyway after their initial contribution.

initially they had 3 or 4 weeks to come up with equal share but came up with only 160 total. but now in two weeks they seem to be able to come up with much more so they can buy out a portion of what I have put into it as my share...though really less than a third of what I paid into this I am getting back .....

so thats the deal we have talked about so far. Im worried about keeping the bus, plates and insurance in my name, any accidents or tickets ...or pretty much anything would come back to me. so if the kids bought out a portion ( an affordable portion ) of my share I would put josh and alex ( the two who had put equal share in so far) insure and plate under alex, and take the money I recieved back from the bus to start on the THC 10.

although the insurance had just been re adjusted and I recieved notice that instead of 95 a month we'll be paying 169 and 317 the difference in the deposit will be deducted from my account on the first. this amount must be paid before the 1st.

josh is hitching to ohio saturday, and might even spend a few days on huglife in tenn

sending alex the best possible vibes, in that crappy situation, I spoke to his father and the out come looks promising.

    we'll figure this out.

    peace

    so heres some new news.

as life has takin me in a different direction, with my new land, new kid on the way, promotions coming out of my ass......

Ive just got so tied up in babylon trying to get out that Im pretty stuck in it for now.

believe it or not but theres a lot of headaches invlovled in getting buses out there, and Im not sure...K rather I know I dont have the time to be invloved anymore on anymore than a purely consultant level.

call me a sell out or whatever...sometimes I feel like it.

Im down with the cause, Ill always be. THC has been my main obgectrive for over a decade.

if kids want to travel on a bus and live the THC lifestyle we have buses, though for the buses That I own. Imm selling to kids who want to live in highway child and they can do whatever they want with it. .....though I am agreeing only to sell the buses tribe or kids who truly want to keep highway child afloat.

Im turning 30 next month........kinda time I guess.

not on line much anymore shit not even in the same area code as I love 5 days a week, so getting a hold of me is tricky, email me or pm me if you want bus infor and ill send you my cell digits.

peace and happy highway to those kids still living it.

So do you think THC is still viable? If the Manticore flies to Canada in January, will there be a bus for him to board, and would you recommend that this would be a good investment for him? By the way, I don't think you're a sellout. I admit it's a little depressing to see that the last bastions of resistance to Babylon are under pressure, but I think it's remarkable and admirable that you could maintain this lifestyle for so many years and devote so much of your life to it. I've been able to endure my Babylonian captivity partly by reading this website and knowing that there are people like you out there who have actually dropped out and seem to be getting along ok. I hope the changing of the guard goes smoothly, and that your creation is able to survive as an inspiration to all of us.
