Well not everyone can finish school so this means they get a shit life, does that sound fair to you? not everyones abilities and skills can be shown in high school ffs so your society apparently shits on them according to this thread.

some people saying 99% you're bound to not even have an 'ok' life. i'm pretty sure this is a pile of shit but it seems like everyones tryng to get this message across.

If you consistently have failed all of your subjects you either do not care, or you are a special needs student and will probably be identified as such.
And yes, there is a strong correlation between finishing school and having a better life.

So you don't finish school and go on to a trade which you're good at and get paid just as much as loads of these people who go off to uni and have to pay shitloads in student loans..... half of these people don't even seem to get a good job out of their degrees, yeah you went to uni and did some sort of film course.... yet there are no jobs in this area

i'm not from USA so maybe it's completely different out there.

You need a high school diploma to enroll in a trade school.
You seem to be convinced that we are advocating the idea that "excess = happiness".
No one has said that.
Of course this boils back down to money. Unless you want to depend on other people's generosity and good grace, money is essential to your survival.

Ok. I just smoked 2 cigarettes and I don't usually smoke unless I'm in deep concentration or extremely pissed.... Needless to say I was both of those things.

This whole education thing is a crock of shit. If I don't pass their tests and then pay to go to some college where I'm being fed the same regurgitated information I can't get a "good" job?

Well fuck that system, I don't want to be a part of that. I thought this was supposed to be a hippie site, you guys all sound like a bunch of fucking pussies. Now I'm not saying I'm a hippie (quite frankly I find them annoying) but I don't want to live in a world where happiness is determined by your high school transcript.

I am going to finish high school.... Not so I can go to college, and not to make my parents proud. I'm going to do it because I only need to be here for 4 more months and then I can never be in that fucking building again.

This is what i have thought as well. school is no test of intelligence. it is only a test of if you read what is in the books they give you. school covers about 4 percent of everything in the world. so going to school is pointless. and i realized this. so i stopped going and am not trying to become a pga tour player

 

This is why i love my group of friends, there's never any drama! I wonder why everyone's always so caught up in it, they say they hate drama, yet they're constantly surrounded by it! crazyness..
