    The idea that only educated people come from "them there big city schools" makes me laugh.

    "V" you should really try engaging your brain before you engage your mouth. The holocaust campaign....The Anti-Defamation League has stated that the deaths of chickens is not comparable to the Jewish holocaust. Peta would be hardpressed to find more than a handfull of Jew's that would agree with them. It's just another bunch of Peta propaganda and you fell for it. **Tisk Tisk**
    One or two Jewish nuts on Peta's side doesn't make it fact.

    More FACTs about PETA...
    Associated Press reports that the animal lovers at PETA believe it's more ethical to whack dogs and cats than to keep them in a cage. As a result, the same people who weep for cows and chickens and rats are annihilating animals right and left.

    All animal shelters struggle with the problem of finding homes for unwanted pets. Many do a better job than PETA.

    The AP reports that PETA killed 1,325 dogs and cats in Norfolk in 2001, more than half of all the animals it took in. Odds of survival were much better over at the Norfolk SPCA, where fewer than a third of the animals were put down.

    ``It is a totally rotten business, but sometimes the only kind option for some animals is to put them to sleep forever,'' PETA President Ingrid Newkirk told AP. ``I don't think a dog living in a cage walking in circles for the rest of its life in a dog prison is a swell thing.''

    How very compassionate of her........better dead than spend any more of Peta's money on them.

    I support efforts to minimize needless animal suffering at the hands of humans (using more humane slaughter methods, ending factory farms, etc) because I can't see the reason why an animal should suffer if an option can be developed which produces the same outcome which satisfies the same human needs to the same degree can be achieved without the suffering is available. I think making anything feel pain, when that can be avoided while still serving our interests, is bad... but ultimately an animal doesn't have rights like fellow human beings do. If the interests of humanity necessitate a certain degree of animal suffering, then it should be done. We should try to minimize that suffering I think but ultimately I have to side with the subjective desires of humans over the subjective desires of animals.

    Vegans live longer?

    The biggest study on the true mortality rates of vegetarians and vegans was published recently, and the results were partly shown in Ahimsa Magazine, which is a vegan magazine. Even though the results were not good for the vegan movement, that vegan magazine said in an editorial that they felt that in fairness to the readers, they needed to publish the information.

    The information was that even though we’ve been led to believe that vegans live longer, they actually live less long than many other dietary categories. Vegans have a high incidence of degenerative brain diseases — Alzheimer, dementia, and things of that nature.
    ______________________________________________

    That artical was published by Michael Greger, M.D. (a vegan doctor)
    www.veganMD.org

    Researchers compared vegetarians to meat-eaters who were just as lean as vegetarians, smoked just as little and had similar social class or education (and who were of course the same age and gender). And what they found shocked them--the vegetarians did not seem to live any longer than the healthy meat-eaters. Wait a second, who did this study? The meat and dairy board? No, the principal investigator is an animal rights vegan. But how about Vegans? Sorry, the study showed Vegans did even worse.
    ________________________________________________

    Here's another study.......

    Researchers say people who eat little or no meat can expect to live longer than the general population; but the scientists found the people who live longest are those who eat a little bit of meat.

    The Center for Cancer Research in Germany studied about 2,000 people age 10 to 70, over a 20 year period. The group had an average of 59 deaths for every 100 deaths in the general population during this period.

    The people in this group fell into three categories: vegans, who eat no animal products; vegetarians, who eat eggs and dairy products but no meat; and occasional meat eaters.

    The study suggests limited meat consumption can be good for you.
    So who had the highest death rate?
    Vagans ...almost twice the rate as the meat eaters.
    For every 100 deaths among vegans, there were only 60 among occasional meat eaters, and 66 among vegetarians.

    "What you eat (or don't eat in the case of Vegans) can kill ya....

    PETA has a more devious agenda in mind than just animal rights. They are connected with ALF, ELF, Greenpeace, Sierra Club and many more anti-American, anti-capitalists groups. Their main goal in America is the redistribution of wealth and replacing our capitalistic system with socialism.

    Note that even the use of the word "front" in their names by ALF and ELF is designed to provoke.....harking back to 'Marxist' terminology. There is an article out titled 'From Red to Green', pointing out why Marxists like radical environmental groups - its because they’re apocalyptic. Their vision is always, ‘give us power to save the planet or the planet will be destroyed.’ The advantage of preaching some kind of socialist revolution in the name of rocks, trees, and animals is that the rocks, trees, and animals can never disown you the way the working class disowned the communists.

    A friend of mine came up with the idea of putting a .50 cal marksmen at fur stores and KFC's. The cost would be minimal and the pleasure of reducing a pimple-faced Peta drone to red mist.....MAXIMUM!

    Its interesting how people can support and donate money to hyppocritical organizations.
    If you didn't know PETA praises itself in the rescue of animals, but secretly puts them to sleep at their Northfolk, Virgina HQ. I have read a report of one former PETA employee where a old man couldn't take care of his rabbit anymore. He thought by giving it to PETA it would have a nice home for somebody to take care of it. What he didn't know is the minute PETA recieved the poor critter they put it to sleep.

    http://www.american-partisan.com/cols/2003/gibson/qtr3/0905.htm

    Its a fact that PETA does in fact have a tie with ALF (Animal Liberation Front) and i'm working getting PETA's tax exemption removed and hoping Ingrid Newkirk faces criminal charges of funding domestic terrorist. It will be a great day when PETA falls and new fair & balanced AW (Animal Welfare) organization takes over. I would also like to point out that people who donate money and the money that is forked over to ALF is just as guilty as committing the crime itself. Remember, the day ALF uses money PETA has given them and ends up killing someone is the day that blood is on your hands.

    Quotes from PETA:
    ===================
    Arson, property destruction, burglary and theft are "acceptable crimes"
    when used for the animals' cause.
    -Alex Pacheco (PETA)

    (Charleston, W.VA Gazette-Mail, Jan 15, 1989)
    ====================
    "Humans have grown like cancer. We're the biggest blight on the face of
    the planet."
    Ingrid Newkirk - Founder, PETA

    Reader's Digest, June, 1990
    ==================
    -In response to Animal Liberation Front violence in the Pacific Northwest:
    "We cannot condemn the Animal Liberation Front...they act courageously,
    risking their freedom and their careers to stop the terror inflicted every
    day on animals in the labs. [ALF's activities] comprise an important part
    of today's animal protection movement."
    ========================
    It would be really great if all these fast-food outlets, slaughter houses, these laboratories and the banks who fund them exploded tomorrow -- Peta Spokesperson Bruce Friedrich.
    ========================
    We are capable of dealing with anyone. No one has died yet but that time will come. -- Keith Mann of ALF, as quoted in the Evening Standard [London, Dec. 8, 1998). Mann was sentenced in 1994 to 14 years in prison for leading a gang which, in 1991, attacked almost 700 businesses in Manchester, UK.

    Final Thought:

    What angers me about PETA is it brainwashed children in the 80s and it still doing the same thing. I'm hoping to get them shut down as it will stop another generation from being brainwashed from the blight that hit this planet 20 - 25 years ago.

    1. I realize that there are people who are against the Holocaust On Your Plate campaign, which is now over btw. I simply stated the fact that the comparison between Holocaust victims and animals on factory farms was originally made by Holocaust survivor Issac Singer, that his grandson supported the campaign, and that it was bankrolled by a Holocaust survivor. Neither you or I is wrong as we both have our facts straight.

    As for the Anti-Defamation League, I find them to be too conservative for their own good sometimes.

    2. About the vegan diet...here again both you and I have our facts straight. I simply stated the fact that it is perfectly healthy for every age and stage of life. I never said it made you live longer.

    3. You actually found one thing I don't agree with PETA about, at least in a way. I am for no-kill shelters as long as they are well-run and maintained properly.

    I figured you would write something as this, because they're in denial that an organization they support condones terrorism from other groups.

    http://animalliberationfront.com/ALFront/AgainstALF/Warning from Ingrid Newkirk.html

    Why would you not cooperate when they are doing investigations on links to terrorism? I think maybe its because they really have something to hide. Its only a matter of time before Ingrid Newkirk faces prison time when the FBI kick into gear and complete the investigation.

    so only Rednecks ride horses,drive trucks,and have some extra pounds?

    Vinceneilsgirl, you are about the most ignorant,delluded,stupid individual I have ever encountered on the net anywhere. And that includes the insane nerds of the songfiction fandom.

    I am seriously beginning to hope you are just a troll that says things to deliberately piss people off because I just can't bring myself to believe that morons like you are allowed access to a keyboard.

    Either that or you are really a 13 year old girl, in which case, you'll grow out of the obnoxious state in which you exist.

    You ma'am are about as loving and tolerant and intelligent as a KKK member.

    Typical response of most petards in which i've encountered in the past. It seems most of them think that people who eat meat generally are rednecks, which is a sterotype. I'm in fact from Texas and well educated for that matter. I want everyone to take notice she couldn't counter my claims or the facts i've presented.

    p.s. I killed 3 baby rats and i'm going after the mother and father next. I'm not the type who uses trap cages and release them only to go into another house.

    She's a true PETA troll.....you'd think at her age she would outgrow that "Disney mentality". I guess hanging out with 12/13 year olds at the PETA2 forums makes her feel smart. BTW...Is it just me or does she use the word "fact(s)" too much?

    I'm not surprised really as at peta-sucks.com we have very intelligent people in their 30s compared to PETA 2 where around 70% of them are 12 - 17 and mostly female. Its funny how she wrote that she "laughed" at my post, but prehaps it has some truth to it? I'm wondering have you considered looking up information on the organization you support? Oh and your so called "cats", newkirk would love to get rid of them.

    ...Eventually companion animals would be phased out, and we would return to a more symbiotic relationship, enjoyment at a distance."
    Ingrid Newkirk - Founder, PETA

    Harpers, August, 1988

    I hope you've said your good-byes before if Ingrid Newkirk had her way decades ago your cats would be discarded. Its really amazing how people never grow up.

    Around here, if you do all three of those things at once you are considered to be a redneck. But than again this is the deep South.

    Funny you should mention the KKK. There is a family of rednecks living down the road from my fiance and I who informed us the minute we moved in that they were proud members, and that they would go out of their way to get my man and I out of the neighborhood. Lucky for us there are laws, money, and good friends on our side.

    I have said it before and I will say it again...people like that are examples of BAD rednecks! Why would anyone want to associate with people like that?

    I never said everyone who eats meat is a redneck. Nor would I say anything bad about Texas! I used to live in San Antonio.

    I don't need to counter your claims or "facts", for two reasons. 1)The scientific facts speak for themselves; and 2)Only an idiot would use petasucks as their source. Petasucks is a HUGE joke.

    You do know that God punishes people for cruelty, do you not?

    Dude, I'm a history major. My whole career will be about gathering facts. Also, I have just always been a factual person. I used to sit in my history classes in HS and prove the teachers wrong. They hated that, but oh well.

    And just to let you know, PETA asked me and a few other older activists to join PETA2 to help the younger generation with our years of activist experience.
