lol well ive grown up listenin to it my mum is good friends with them she used to tour with them and all, they stayed at my house a couple times when i was little

lol wish i remembered it better or actually appreciated it at the time, i was 7 or something when they were at my house and i hated hawkwind and led zeppelin and everything that i had been made to listen to all my life.. that all changed =D

 

Ther Ozric Tentacles were similar to Hawkwind saw them them at Glastonbury many years ago. Mushroom music.

but nah, whomever mentionned ozric tentacles... i dun like, its too computerized and technoish, its trippy but its not good music... something good similar to hawiwind is Gong.

 

From Ozrics came Eat Static, Joie Hinton and Merv Pepler. Seminal psychedelic electronic dance music outfit.

Some Hawkwind stuff is cool but some I find a little hmmmmm. Gong are undoubtedly wicked though.

 

ive never properly listened to gong, my mum gave me one of their albums.. egg.. something like that if i can find it ill have a listen laterrr
