and might i add, as a conclusion to my opinion for this thread,
any politician that causes any innocent person to die or be harmed should be removed from the scene somehow. if the world were perfect, power and evil wouldn't often like to stroll hand in hand from time to time...

 

The point is hitler was a good leader period. whether he was violent or not I didnt see america caring abou the jews at all it was mainly before of a personal reason that the allies fought back for. never once did you country care about a holocaust until decades later. On top of that he brought money and jobs back to Germany, which they desperatly needed.all in all he did bad things alot but also has done some positive things.

 

excellent point. however, whether it was manipulative or not, he led the nation and got people to follow him. In terms of power, he was a success. And isn't that what many leaders ultimately strive to achieve?

 

heres the thing: hitler is dead.
I am alive.
I'd rather be alive then dead, because I can do things like walk and swim and laugh.
He can only have people debate him and his antics. Yawn. No one ever agrees on anything because we all interpret things differently.

 

A debate isn't about trying to make the other person agree with your views. It's about talking about each others views.

Also, if some topics weren't debated then questions will never be answered.

 

^^ oh yeah, i'm always down for a good debate, just not on forums because too many comments come from random people and then I'm just like WTF and smoke a bowl, then loose interest or something

and i didn't read anyones posts really, though it seems there was a little heated debate in there that i wasn't interested in getting into after so much has previously said and done.

 

Ilove debating on forums because you get to hear different oppinions you might not get from debating with friends or people that live in your area. This way we get international views from many different people.

 

Aye if you look at it that way, debates are good, but i've debated hitler in SO many classes in high school that I don't much care for it at all anymore.

but in forums, people do get pissed and call names, flame, blah blah blah. thats why i don't care for it much.

now if it was a debate about... whether giraffes or llamas are cooler. i'd be all up in that monkey.

Nobody ever said America cared about the Jews and this country never did until it's support for Israel(but that's for another thread). There are aboout 100 reasons to list why America finally entered the war; we're all aware saving the Jews wasn't one... especially when that knowledge wasn't know at the time.

Yeah, he brought money and jobs back. That sure helped 10 years later when Germany was ruined and later when half of the country was left to starve and live in terrible conditions for the 2nd half of the 20th century.

 

A country has killed more innocents in 230 years of war than one country did during a 12 year stretch? Jaw-dropping.

Im glad you all got out some steam and all about nazis and had a fun time arguing with each other but sad point true is I just made a sarcastic post about Hitler. Its his birthday on 4-20 and thats a day hippies cherished funny know just like sarcasim ha ha ha

Thanks for explaining what 4-20 is; never heard of it during my hippy days. An old hippy tried to explain it to me recently, but she didn't mention anything about Hitler. If I still smoked doobbies, I probably would've sparked one up for his B-day, wtf, but fortunately or maybe unfortunately (still can't figure out which it is) I stopped smoking pot in 1999.
