It's not so bad here in central Connecticut, since we're in between. However, that makes the rivalry even more intense. It WAS bad when I lived in southern Maine from 1985 to 1987. In that period, the Celtics won the 1986 NBA Finals. Thankfully, New England was destroyed in Super Bowl XX (1986). We all know about the 1986 World Series already. It was probably the only time I actively rooted for the Mets!
lol i wasnt alive in 86 so only from what people have told me. 2004 was the stuff of nightmares though, that must have been hard surrounded by boston fans. theyve done good business this winter to, probably gonna be the team to beat in AL east. We'll do well to make the playoffs with such a weak rotation.
Yes, it can get tough. I actually get along well with two Red Sox fans, both of which are former coworkers. They've always been decent with me, despite the obvious rivalry. Other than that, it's snowing here right now and it's miserable outside. It's been going for only 4 hours and we've got about an inch, maybe a bit more. Wish I could be in Florida again right now!
Yeah i have a good freind whos a red sox fan to. Its only 46 degrees here now so not warm at all, no snow though lol.
I just checked your forecast. The Weather Channel said it's only 44 there. WOW! Your area even has a freeze warning tonight! Stay warm and cuddle with somebody you love!
That will be my cat then an yea go yankees!. Id reply with a visitor msg or pm but i dont seem to have those functions yet lol.
Welcome to Florida, lots to do in Orlando. I live over on the west coast, south of Tampa and it's stupid cold, for this state anyway. Fear not it supposed to be in the 70's by the end of the week.
Maybe it was "cold" for you guys, but at least you didn't get a Nor'Easter with 8 + inches of powder and a ridiculously strong north-northwest wind which went all night and to early afternoon today.
Like it just fine apart from this cold spell. No havnt used facebook for a few months, keep meaning to make a new profile and probably will do soon.
