My religion says there is no reincarnation. Funny tho, how i remember living a life at sea. I have always remembered being on a big sailing vessel, hundreds of years ago. I don't know if i was a sailor, or a captain, or a pirate. But i just feel like i was there. And in the Atlantic mostly. That's all i can remember. I don't even like the ocean, never have. So i know it's not some fantasy i came up with as a child, or anything like that.
Extremely good write. Very intriguing and thought provoking. Are all of you but myself? By talking to each and every human, am I just actually speaking to a different variation of myself? By george I think hes got it, something I've known for a while now.. We are all one. Everything is one. Though to say 'everything' is sort of counter productive, isn't it?
Awesome post, did you find this or write this yourself? Its a really interesting thought and it ties in with a lot of the things I believe. It makes a whole lot of sense really, and at the same time its a scary thought.
I love it. More importantly, one does not have to believe the story as a truth to appreciate its lessons.
I must be you, because i was thinking the same thing... Lol phenomenal post, i've found myself believing for a while the whole theory is really true.
Ive played around with very similar ideas in my head, nice to see somebody else thinking along the same lines
Nice to see somebody else thinking along the same lines? Don't you mean nice to see yourself thinking along the same lines as yourself?
good shot on the whole time thing....our composite being created time to help us keep our selfish appointments and to give us a "break" from striving to make ourselves (i.e. humanity) better, more 'enlightened' people. Mr. Jung would be proud....great post!
Ah wonderful! I actually shared this with a friend of mine. He's kinda freaking out now. It makes sense. I sometimes have strange memories I have no recollection of...
If you believe in Darwin or even just Y-Chromosomal Adam and Mitochondrial Eve then "you are everyone" is metaphorically and arguably literally true, we are a continuation of their DNA, all a bit different, but mostly still the same and still reproducing, recreating those exact same sequences Adam and Eve (either Darwinian or Abrahamic) were, tendrils of the same entity spreading out across the earth, space and time. If whoever came up with this did so a couple of thousand years ago, and preached it as literal in the style of a prophet or apostle when more people had an open mind to this sort of thinking, if we had this influence upon us throughout the past couple of millennia instead of the "us vs them" one true god culture, I wonder what the world would look like.
