lol i can't believe i said what i said about black hair. my dad has pitch black natural hair *slapslap*

the ones i did today - i backcombed the loose hair or made them frizzy before sewing in, actually i backcombed the loose hair while wrapping around and through the thin roots, so they'd be connected. looked ok but idk if they'd stay. at least they survived the deep cleanse

I meant indians, but yeah, some native americans have actual black hair as well.

There's actually a pretty large group of irish people with black hair believe it or not...

my natural hair color is ash blonde. I'm german, irish, scottish, french and whatever the hell else I haven't found out yet. Most of my traits come from the north german portion.

Hell, at this point, I'm sure American is the only thing that describes me.
My Friend Ciara (pronounced Ki-ra) to me is the epitome of Irish-ness. Irish name. She has light blue eyes, dark dark hair, light skin, etc.
    She is so pretty =]

As for me, my mum says I'm Irish and Scottish, and that is what people always assume because of my hair color and light skin.
But it is so insignificant to me, I don't really care. My like, 2% Irish roots don't count =P

I stand by mi idea that there are few "real" american people, the few that are left are native americans trapped in reservations the rest are all illegal immigrants, even if you do technically have a nationality, I do have me united states passport and I believe its a lie!!!

they look really thin, I think you should get a bunch of beads with big holes and put two or three dreads in each bead and let them combine.

well the problem with beads is that if i i want to join 2-3 dreads, then tho hole has to be quite big as the dreads are normal width at the ends. the thin part is at the roots. if i'll put a big bead then it wouldn't hold the roots together but just slide down to the wider parts of the dreads. now idk about congoing.. where should the bead be?

That's fine. The bead can be on the thicker part of the dread, it will still congo at the root.you can use string to tie/sew the bead onto the dread if it doesn't want to stay on by itself. you can even sew/crochet the dreads together (at the thicker part) to help them congo at the root.

Also, I don't know if someone mentioned this, but rubbing pure wool in a circular motion on the head does help the hair knot up at the roots as well.

if you want to get technical, most countries are filled with immigrants, just that they've been there for thousands of years.

yeah, that's what pisses me off when I hear other Americans bitching about immigrants. I just wanna say "don't you know that your ancestors immigrated here too?"

I think countries are a stupid idea anyways. It gives people a reason to seperate themselves from each other and support their "team"

I say fuck countries and fuck America. I think we need to start looking at ourselves as "humanity" instead of America, Germany, Japan, Mexico, etc.

To me it seems stupid that the people of countries base their opinions of each other on what our respective governments do. People hate Americans because our government is a bunch of idiots and likes to start wars. I don't know about you, but they didn't come by my house and ask me my opinion on it, because I would have surely said no. I've been lucky enough over the years to meet people from all over and realize that we're all being fed bullshit by the people in charge, regardless of where we're from.

Oh, and "native americans" migrated here as well. no one is "entitled" to any place on earth. As far as gaining citizenship of a country, through getting my wife's greencard/citizenship, its obvious that its all about money... that's all the government cares about.

I am as real of an American as any. Why do they have to be native to be considered a real American? I am part cherokee indian so I think I can say this with merit...but seriously the remaining indians (in large) live on reservations with their own laws to govern themselves and not identifying with the countries nationality. Then they opening up casinos and have a statistically larger than average population of alcoholics channeling in American currency to their shitty economies...real americans there. Hypocritical if you ask me.

What is a real american anyway?
