I had my own business for a whilst and I did never regret giving everything up for travelling. Currently I am in my country of birth; the Netherlands.
I'm planning on traveling a great deal in a year or two. I don't mind where I end up. I just want to see the world and escape from the repetitive rat race. I really don't think I'll regret it and I have no one to stay in the UK for. I might start in Thailand but my second choice is India. What would you advise?
Between those two: India definately. But then again, it is all a personal choice. If you want easy travelling, start in Thailand and work your way up to India. India is hardcore, but it will definately enrichen you. Power to you, you should bum the world.
LOL Bird! I think this is going to be my last trip though. This trip is going to be the last thing I see. For some reason I know I just have to do it.
I am sooooo tired of Toronto, ugh! I want to shake the shackles of Toronto from me. Its so busy, its so rat race-y, Im dead tired of the winters and feeling like the city never ends.
Last trip? The last trip is the one that changes the body for the soul. In between that there are still many trips to take!
No buddy. This is my last trip. I'm going for quality over quantity. I need to see 'it'. Like a fly to the flame
Ethiopia would be fascinating, but I honestly think that you should take advantage of visiting the Middle East while it's still a little tourist-accessible. I'd say Start in Morocco, work your way towards Egypt, go up to Israel, and then check out the Palestinian territories, the "holy" places, go to Jordan, visit Petra, check out Syria, and Lebanon, maybe even a bit of Saudi Arabia.
If I got an Isreali stamp I can not visit 'Muslim' territories. But yeah, I do like that idea. I have been thinking about visiting Iran of Afghanistan actually, people have told me good things about it. And from there work my way back to Europe.
