hell yeah, headbutts are gold. I usually use short chopping punches or inside knees and quickly change levels and go for a double leg(when we spar it's MMA rules).
my sugar daddy in town says nothing but the best for me :H i was drinking cheap vodka i suppose i'll continue with it i feel 15 again
Yeah, I'm training under MMA rules now. I never take the fight down, I've been doing lethwei for 6 years, and I feel real comfortable boxing and inside clenching. My takedown defense is pretty good. But I'm starting to fight alright when I go down. I just need to get better inside my guard. It seems like whenever I go down, I can defend the fight to a standstill, But I'd like to be able to fight better on my back. I need to work on my reversals a lot. I'm still pretty new to juijitsu.
I have started to chain an anaconda right after going for the guillotine on a take down though. Chaining moves in jujitsu is really where the game is. No sense struggling with a stronger opponent for a hold you wont get.
I don't know what it is with me. My stand up isn't bad at all but, I feel waaay more comfortable on the ground. Right now, I'm training on my clinch game. I'd love to be able to throw knees like Anderson Silva but, I'd be good doing the Greco thing also. Sweeps are death if you have someone super strong on top of you, being able to defend a submission is work enough.
what is moral superiority? i can't focus worth a shit right now and i can't think of how to explain it in terms of answering my damn question. i just need a quick and dirty answer...something to get me rolling here
Yup, Anaconda is one of my favorites! Guillotines transitions into D'Arces easily also. What I really wanna do is catch someone in a Gogo. that would be sweet.
Find a pool of shallow water, a little higher then your ankles. Sprint through it with high knees. And for throwing your knees, instead of throwing them in for the outside knee, bring it up a bit, and then down into the leg. I boxed for three years and I would rather have my elbows in a fight then my fists. No question.
I was thinking about Vanderlai and Anderson, and what a cool name silva is. I'm heavily cosidering changing my name. And Silvas so damn cool...
I'll do that for sure, before it gets too cold. I need to work on my elbows, I've been neglecting them lately. I recently got good at throwing kick combo's so I've been kick crazy lately. Wandy is gonna KO Chuck. I gaurantee it.
i have to say...i fucking hate grappling! it's so gay i mean it's fun sometimes i guess, if the two guys are hot, than it looks erotic but mainly, i wanna see some kicks and punches to the face
alot of people don't find it asthetically pleasing but, to me it's like a chess match. unless they're just stalling then it sucks.
I certainly prefer to handle my shit by bringing my shin into their neck. As we said in jujitsu. Grappling, not gay unless you look 'em in the eye.
It's super effective though. And It's certainly important to know how to handle myself if I end up on my back.
