Have your parents ever caught you?

my mom caught me a lot when i was in high school.

the funniest time i was watching a movie in the living room with a few of my friends and she came home and looked at me and said, "lisa, i know you're stoned! look at your eyes; you look like an alien!" i just laughed. i still laugh about it because i have no idea what she meant by that, like maybe because my eyes were super red?

ooh, another funny time she caught me we were in the car and i had the munchies and i had this bag of cookies and apparently i was grubbing on them pretty fast because she goes, "lisa, are you stoned? you're eating those cookies awfully fast." hahaha...

she didn't really care when i got high though, so it didn't really matter. she was more upset when i'd drink.

 

my parents would honestly kick me out if they caught me smoking or found out that i had been smoking pot..

it's a very scary fact for myself.

 

So, lay off it, if you keep doing it, don't do it often, and NEVER do it at home.
Doing other substances often and at home got me busted, and I DID get kicked out, with LEO involvement. This is advice I can offer, since I've been there. Doing it at home is a great way to get busted. Oh, and don't ever go home high as fuck. That's an instant ticket to trouble. I don't care if they're asleep. Don't do it. Oh, and I suggest eyedrops, and don't overdo it on the scent stuff. Best bet, take off your clothes, something like febreeze, let it dry as you walk around, then hit the scent stuff later on before you go home.

The only time my dad cares is when he can smell it; my mom smokes too (she's smoked with me, my brother & my sister) and she's 100% cool with us smoking anytime.

I usually just climb out my window and chill on the stairs outside, burn some incense when I come back in, and nobody says anything.

For the record, my brother, sister and I all used to hide it until 4/20/07, when we unfortunately got busted together. After that, I completely stopped hiding it. I tell my mom about my shroom/lsd/etc. adventures; she laughs and says, "Don't tell your father."

People who smoke in the house and try to hide it -- aren't you terrified?? That's pretty ballsy.

I was caught through a piss test only. After that I told them I liked weed and wasn't going to quit. They didn't like my answer but accepted it. I just thank god I never had some of those psycho ass parents when I was growing up...

Lol that's exactly what i do, right on brother. Lol, no matter how many times i do it i'm always right trippin out at all the sounds of the entire house, furnice, floor creaks, next door, so i can't hear if anyones comin or i can't consentrate real good. I keep talkin to myself, "shit someone is coming for sure this time, get all crazy go by the stairs an listnen, climb up a little, then realived climb back down and re-light my bowl. Man i miss livin at home oh well, no i get to hide it from my g/f that bitch lol!

How bad is your anxiety bro? I got diagnosed 9 months ago and thought i was going crazy. I guess it runs on my dads side of the family, I'm starting to get a little better now, but the reason im asking is because i want to know if i can smoke again, i havn't smoked in 9 months or drank or anything. which is nuts. im afraid ill lose it on weed, because i use to get right parinoid anyway when i was high. as i'm sure you know anxiety is the worst feeling ever depending on how long you've had to get use to it.

So can i smoke weed?

and do you get parinoid smoking to or am i a fuckhead?

 

I nearly got caught (about 3 years ago) but my mother was oblivious lol. I made a bowl in the kitchen and had a 2L coke bottle cut in half, foil cut out and everything lol, I didn't clear any of it up and when she got home she asked what it all was and I told her I was doing a 'vinegar and coke reaction experiement' for science and she was like "okay!" lols, thats the closest its ever been.

However if i were to get caught I'd just argue the reasons why I believe smoking it is better than drinking or smoking tobacco (which she does), why it's illegal in the first place, and how it can even be beneficial. I'd put the squish on her with a lecture. My parents always point out how good I am at arguing a point, so with all the information supporting weed, it would be hard for me to lose.

 

lol man i had the same thing happen to me once it was nuts.

K so im sitting there making my pop bottle bong with my bag of weed right beside it on the counter, all ready tin foil and all in it, i go to the other side of the kitchen to get a tooth pick to poke holes, when i hear my mom just coming down the bottom of the stairs. i have no clue how i didn't hear her. i had no time to get to the stuff and hide it, and it was like on the counter right in front of her when she walks in the kitchen door. She looks at me, I look at her like im fucked, sweat rolling down my face. She says "What are you still doing up so late?" I hesitate thinking "Did she not notice it? Is that even possible? If not I'm still fucked by the look on my face" Anyway, I reply "couldn't sleep" She's like "whats the toothpick for" I felt like saying "the fat bowl im about to pack behind you" but instead i say "Oh I dunno, I just felt like chewing on a stick or something" She goes, walks to the fridge gets a drink, goes to leave with the bag of weed right in her face! Goes back to bed. I'm like "wow........awesome!" I then go smoke 6 fat bowls

 

i've never really been caught in the act, but what's gotten me in trouble is the lingering smell.

lmao yeh I had that look on my face too. You're thinking to yourself, "did that really just happen?! did she really not have a clue?!", and are in a state of disbelief and relief. But man did I poop myself when she saw it all on the table lol

 

one thing that took me a long time to realize is that we really stink when we smoke weed- and nothing gets if off very quickly,besides getting caught in the act...i'm 50 and back in the 70's my folks were scared i'd get busted.they knew i was smoking,so they let me smoke in my room and my friends would come over...man we stunk up the house,but atleast i wasn't getting busted..that would come later...but anyway my kids walked in on my smoking,when i thought they were sleeping,so that cat has been out of the bag for years....

if you dont want to get caught ,don't do it in the house,but you will probably get nailed anyway-

 

Exactly same thing with my family

 

my entire family (on both sides) has pretty much tried it in the past.

my father and 2 uncles grew it once. my mother had hash in university. the list goes on...

they dont care as long as its clearly not effecting my marks

 

I've never been caught, but I'm sure that my parents have some suspicions due to my love for 50's + 60's counterculture. I've smoked in my room numerous times and they haven't confronted me -- it's not hard either, just put the towel under the door, use a sploof and blow it all out the window.

As for smell, it's easy enough to mask after washing your face, brushing your teeth, and reapplying deodorant. Eating a clementine helps too, I'm told.

 

um...yeah...it sucked
they really have no problem with it other than it being illegal
