Was I thinking again? Dammit, wondered what that noise was *jams ice pick in ear and pushes until the noise stops and the birds start singing again* To paraphrase some dead chinese guy "Everything's temporary so everythings tolerable. Once you learn to tolerate you learn to appriciate. Once you learn to appriciate you learn to enjoy. Once you learn to enjoy they'll try and up your medication. Once they up your meds you can stash it and sell it to grammer school kids."
the only reason im even alive right now is because, I know that when if i die, my parents will get overly depressed and my mom might kill herself.
I read this thing in a Bill Bryson book once...strange place to take life advice from but...anwyay it basically said the we are so priviledged to be living our meaningless little lives, i mean, think of how many millions of ancestors you had who had to live to procreate at least once just so that you could be born. if you have two parents, four grandpreants, eight great grandies and so on, the number gets ridiculously huge. And these ancestors lived through wars and plauges and all sorts of dangers, none of them dying as children. Some of them probably fought each other in civil wars for instance, every time coming close to a death that would mean you never were whats more for you to be alive, not only did each of them had to have sex with the person that they did, they had to do it at exactly the time they did to form the person who formed the person....who formed the person who met the other person and formed you. The odds of the dna all mingling to make the chance of you being alive are hundreds of milliions to one. So, basically, what Bryson gets at is that for this tiny insignificant moment you are alive. That is reason enough to try and stay that way. You can delight in doing things like sniffing your armpits, blowing your nose, having hot sex, eating chocolate, daydreaming, simply for the fact that at this moment you are able to do these things. so yeah. out of the millions of possibilites that could have been it is you that got to be, so please just love the fact that you are alive for it's own sake. (and he goes on to say that if that doesn't cheer you up, you can at least take pleasure from the fact that tie a yellow ribbon round the ol' oak tree will never be no 1 again)
yep sure, and then you dig yourself out and start constructing things around your life that make you feel like ur heading in the direction u want to go..even if ur not sure where it is.... But don worry bud, life has a strange way of coming to get you...you just have to give back and remain positive! hehe put a dopey smile on your dile!
