Here in my state, we had a rash of female teaches who had sex with their male students. And some of the teachers were very attractive. Even though some of the students were of the age of consent (17 in my state), they still got arrested and charged with sex with a student because the state law banned teachers from having sexual relations with any student. The ACLU was trying to get that overturned because it said the students were legally adults, and it was not a crime for consenting adults to have sex with each other. But the law still stands.

 

Those teachers should be in the police union

 

A teacher is considered a person of influence where they have authority over the student much like a boss has authority over employees. Any suggestion of sexual relations with an underling is considered as using their position of authority to coerce the student into it whether the student consented or not. That's where the ACLU will lose the case.

 

Some of those female teachers were even married. I guess they could be called pedophiles. They do have to register as a sex offender, and I think that label sticks with them for life, since what they did is considered a felony offense.
