Have you ever been to a large size concert alone? How did you cope?

So you'll be in Dublin on June 16th? The obvious thing to do would be to carry around a copy of Ulysses very prominently, and you're bound to fall into conversation with all kinds of folk about Dublin's favourite novel. In fact you've even got time to read Ulysses itself by then, assuming you can go without sleep, skip school/work etc.

(If you don't get this, look up "Bloomsday" on wikipedia.)

Holy shit. Yes. If you can get your housemate to get me backstage, I will love both of you forever and do damn near anything, and still buy the both of you drinks next time we meet.

(Wait, I think his backstage rider form prohibits stuff like that :()

But this is Prince, he doesnt even allow photographs to be taken! I love his music but he can be a bit of a :wank: sometimes, what with that, the youtube fiasco regarding his videos and ordering the prince fansites prince.org, housquake and princefams to remove certain content like photos, even those of symbol o(+> tattoos done by fans!

i saw prince last summer at the o2 arena and if i remember correctly there was heavy security in operation - bag searches etc. Dont know if that was because of the location or th performer.. either way.. it was a FANTASTIC gig! I hope you enjoy :)

oops sorry.. yeah my housemate is only working the bar i believe.. he has no great position of responsibility/ability to get backstage.

Well you'll be going to Arsenal or Holloway Road station.. both of which are on the piccadilly line.. the last one runs about 12 30 - 1 ish i think.
best thing is to go on
www.tfl.gov.uk and they have a wonderful journey planner!

Oh yes, I went to a concert alone. It was June 14th 1997 I think and there was a concert in Wembley Arena. Back then the stadium still had its four towers. How things have changed. I suppose because everyone is in a great mood, music kind of unites strangers together. It is asthough you are one organism with the crowd. I didn't think about distributing drug idea. I did see a nice girl there. Shame:)
