There needs to be national debate about this, because there are two sides to the story. One should ask what fluoride does to the human body. Yes, it kills bacteria...but what else does it kill. Are all bacteria bad? Should we be putting industrial waste into water our children drink? We know a lot more about these issues than we did in the 60's when this all started. It needs debate.
The debate re-emerged in the 90s .. Both sides have been debated over and over.. You just need to find the info.
do you really think so? silly me all this time i thought it was made from hyrofluoric acid, which is derived from reacting sulfuric acid with fluorspar, a calcium fluoride ore. not to mention the natural occuring fluoride like in colorado's spring's colorado water
doesnt kill bacteria, it just prevent's bacteria from making an releasing tooth decaying acid's, as far as the industrial waste in our mouth's, i believe that is a myth. unless of course if someone prove's me wrong. but it's all made in tulsa okla., OZARK FLUORINE SPECIALTIES the only company in the US that makes fluoride.
Flouride is a biproduct of nuclear power? Im sure there are some decay process that terminate in flourine (I cant think of one but id bne suprised if there wasnt). That doesn't mean toothpaste glows in the dark. As far as I know Flouride ions dont possess any anti-bacterial properties I always thought it was added for its mineral properties. Putting an anti bacterial in the water supply or non drug products would be a bad idea as people can be alergic to anti bacterials. Either way, why cancer seems so common. Damage to our cells is cumulative, that is as we get older the damage gets worse, unsuprising. To get cancer certain genes need to be affected (I think theres 5 of them, I dont know if we have a biochemist flaoting around who can confirm/deny). On the beach, smoking drugs/baccy or indeed standing in a nuclear reactor is unhealthy because it does massive damage to your cells normally they commit suicide (peeling skin at the beach) if this system fails and others fail you have cancer. This can also happen by slow wear and tear over years so as people live longer there is a much greater chance that cumilitive damage will get too much. Also detection is better cancers near the surface are fairly easy to detect but before modern scanning techniques it was quite possible for someone to die of cancer and it never be known. Also animals often die of cancer certainly Ive had a pet go that way, although again most household pets dont live as long as humans. There probably are enivronmental and dietry factors too mcuh red meat causes pancreatic cancer, possibly. Some veg is contains antioxidants which are good for cleaning up free radicals, although health food shops make more of this than is necaessary there are free radicals everywhere the body has its own mechanisms for keeping clean but onions and peppers are a good palce to start, though I dont think these counteract smoking and certainly dont counteract sunburn Also getting a good variety of protein makes sure the body has the materials it needs to replicate properly. I guess pollution does have an impact.
