i remember during the first semester of college (last semester), a few friends and myself invested into shroom cultivation, and our first real stock we collected, our first trip together, we were far out from central campus, sitting at this bench by these lakes... this guy walks up to us and asks us if we've seen 5 white rocks, because his pet snake is missing. i wanted to help him sooo horribly, i initially thought he just didn't have any friends... he was acting a little timid walking up to us, and then i read his shirt... his shirt said something along the lines of "Student With Disabilities: this student is yatta yatta yatta". it all became very very eerie at that moment, nasty vibes were being felt by all of us. he looked pretty out there. definitely a bit crazy. i felt pretty bad, but we needed to tell him we're busy and couldn't help him. he definitely wasn't right =(*. i didn't know what to do, as much as i wanted to help him, the situation wasn't feeling to nice.
I used to date this girl whose uncle had "chemically induced schizophrenia". Basically the guy did so much acid he forgot who he was. Sometimes he thought he was John Lennon, sometimes Jim Morrison, Jesus Christ or Charles Manson. I only met him a couple times and he was heavily sedated. He has been in a mental institution for 15 years and chances are he will die there.
A friend of my father's was/is schizophrenic. I never knew until her flipped out one day and killed his own mother. He was super paranoid that she was trying to "get him" and stabbed her. He always seemed very nice. We ended up having to get our phone # changed because he would call all the time from prison. A very good friend of mine is also schizophrenic, but he is on med. and is able to live very normally. I've known him since high school, but he wasn't diagnosed until a few years ago.
When I was younger (young and foolish), I had a boyfriend who was manic depressive (which is usually what most people mistake bi polar for). He stabbed his stepfather and held a knife to his best friend/ex girlfriend's throat. The point of the relationship? I tried to do what I could to help him, but he had not yet decided that he wanted to receive help. He would not even speak to his Psychologist.
im perscribed a typical anti psychotics, does that make me crazy? i think a little crazy sometimes. i kinda have a inferiority complex about being crazy, i shy away when people jokingly say "your fuckin crazy, man!"
Well, I think everyone is a crazy in their own way. I meant someone who cant walk the streets cause they are mentally ill... But everyone has their bouts of craziness from time to time, we wouldnt be sane if we didnt..
