I have a question for everyone.

Has hanging out in this (your) house actually changed your real life in any way? Or made it better? Or Anything that you can think of?

A share discussion topic if you'd like to.
    Just an idea.

Changed... No, not really, maybe I'm posting more old psychedelic music than I would otherwise. (Which has had me finding some sweet tunes I hadn't heard before :2thumbsup:)

What it has done is make me want to "Go There" but it's not really like that in reality. So it's kind of a "homesick" feeling for something that doesn't exist. I can't explain it any better than that.

I mean... I'm not really the far out tripping psychedelic guitar player with a studio in the basement in reality... But that is me, that's what my persona is if it were given the chance to be real. If that makes any sense...

Well, that's a beautiful thing. A lot of good old tunes that really mean something, and surprises,as well. And sharing. Not just enjoying by one's self, but others get to enjoy with you. That's sweet.

You shown me beautiful things that I haven't thought of in ages. You are saving my life and restoring my spirit and my faith. Thanks you, brother. And I see new discoveries with my heart.

I totally understand what said and meant. You sad it brilliantly. I couldn't have put it that well. THX. That's is what I feel. Homesick, however it does exist in all of our hearts. And it could physically exist and be a reality, if we strove for it. It can really be like that in reality. First the desire. then the will. Then build it and live it. This is what I feel. What do you feel?

    "If that makes any sense..."

My brother, that makes perfect sense. Supreme sense.

Not only that, but in my eyes, that is the exact crux of why the 60s happened, the crux of the whole hippie thing. Run away from what I was and from what society expects me to become, and go and learn to blossom into who I truly want to be.

    "…be real."

People would run away to the Haight-Ashbury and then dress up in costumes of the archetype or the persona of who they would wish be. They would walk up Haight Street ever day becoming that new person more every day. Doesn't matter what. A princess fairy costume. A wizard costume. In time that was how they really became. They change. Even better, they directed the change.

    Make any sense?

    Free thoughts? Any?

    Shameless_Heifer,

You remember Jimmy Jang??? Can you stop and explain to folks here. Jimmy Jang was a Wizard. He wore Chinese Wizard robes. He was very probably the guys who was walking down Haight Street who the very song "China Cat Sunflower" by the Grateful Dead was written about. He was the only one on Haight Street like that who I can remember knowing.

Can you comment on Jimmy Jang???

Great question! Wow have I got some things I'd like to try to put into words on this.

I'll be back later when my brain has cooled off. It was 109 degrees here IRL today.

Was the only one I ever met with two large (saint bernard & borzoid/russian wolfhound ) who were vegitarian. Or so I was told and that bernard was trim enough to make it believable.

Anybody who wants dinner. I am putting on can Four cheese tomato sauce, as much as we need. And boiling water for Rotini the spiral pasta. Lots of Parmasan.

    10 minutes. OK?

There's also some Chianti. Grab a wine glass.

    5 minutes. OK?
