Tiger, If you click on my Image Square that is blank, to the Left here and go to my personal space, then look in my image gallery. There's a folder named Architecture. All of the floor plans and the house images are in there. You can link any of them over to this in a regular post. If you want to. The viewing thread that we had set up is in the Main Good Earth folder. It's still there but all of the pictures are no longer linked up in each posting. They all unlinked when the server changeover took place. Back when your journals disappeared. You remember that time. Plus, we no longer have a MOD who can go back in and change the people's names within the pages. Oh well. Love ya. Kenny
I would find it easier to not take a straight road away from home. Maybe go one mile out and then go in a square from there.
It's cold and rainy out---kind of like Liverpool----so I drove around listening to the Beatles' Let It Be album all day----now I got the songs stuck in my head. So I'll fire up the old phonograph and put the LP on----first the first track on the B side. I'll play these loud to offset the Liverpool-like weather: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyH3qOFhvJw Now the second track on the A side: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I2JPaCc0i0
LOL! You know my record albums too well! If you may remember, on the back of some of those old High Fidelity record album covers, there was a drawing of a good needle (it was going through the groove without incident), and a bad needle (it was going through the groove with chunks of record flying out of the groove). Well-----growing up, my record player was obviously the one with the bad needle. I think it was supposed to be a diamond needle, but I can't remember------I just know what my records sound like----including my green apple label, Let It Be.
@Wolf;..the Beatles did some nice songs in their heydays... :bandana: I always have been more a Rolling Stones fan... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xuuupw_the-beatles-the-beatles-white-album-2009-stereo-remaster-full-album_music
I can dig that. I don't know if I could choose one over the other. But I think the Beatles were more influential in the sense that they opened up the eyes of American youth to the music scene that was happening in the UK. By the way, I am friends with an old British hippie. I don't know how true this story is, but this what he told me----he was friends with the British version of our Owsley----maybe someone here might know his name, but he was the one that supplied acid to the London hip scene. Anyway, he says he was over at his place one time when a couple of the Beatles showed up, maybe Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison---I forget. But anyway they said that they were going to have a party and wanted to get some acid for it. This chemist told them that he had just finished a batch, but he was unsure how good it was, other than that he was sure it was pretty potent. He suggested that it gets tested first but they insisted that they would take it as is, because they didn't have time to wait. The next time my friend saw the chemist, he asked how the Beatles liked the acid. He told him that John told him (and I am paraphrasing becuase it has been a while since I heard this), 'What ever you did, keep doing it, 'cause that stuff was incredible.' He then said that John related how they were sitting in this room tripping, when all of a sudden a blue crystal-like horse with a rider came through the wall and into the room. It pointed and said, "Go to India." It was only a matter of weeks later that the Beatles anounced they were going to go to India---and the rest is history.
It will be one week tomorrow since Crusher has been here. It is hard for me to just say Crusher. it does not role off my tongue...yesterday, i called him Chaser by accident.....or I will have to stop as i am calling him...and think now what is his name....? LOL He has integrated himself nicely with the other 3 cats, and minxy and he play alot now. he chases Minxy. Minxy loves to be chased and he chases her. i think that is why i accidentally called him Chaser....He chases her so much, until she stops and goes to sleep and Crusher still wants to play.....he is a hell cat.....definitely a hunter type....hell on wheels wild cat......I think when he gets bigger....he may be lead cat here.....he is already challenging Finnegan, the bully cat here.... Although, Crusher is kind of used to getting used to the dogs, he won't be on the same floor as them, so in the day, he is upstairs until they all go upstairs to sleep and then he comes down and raises holy hell! Tearing around here like crazy! He is also very affectionate and vocal.....He has a lot of energy.....He was pent up for so long, as he spent the first part of his life in cages and in casts, only dreaming of running around, I think. I am glad he he has his freedom and opportunity now......
