Well not exactly. My local league picks names of proffesional hockey teams. The captain of my team is from minnesota so naturally the stars are the pro team he decided to go with.

And of course the penguins are my favorite hockey team.

Brit reference: city founded by British General Pitt (circa the British Colonies) Fort Pitt, now equals Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Extreme west end of the state of Pennsylvania. Colonial reference: British subject William Penn, granted a huge land grant from the King for debts owed to his father by the Crown.

i.e. Pennsylvania which translates as Penn's Woods.

Yeah, Sylvan as in the sylvan hills, means wooded (like saying wooded hills) or a woodland. I might guess that you live in or around Pittsburgh. No?

Well..peeps...I am back home after a really amazing trip through Malaysia and Singapore...
I still have bit of jetlag==i came home after a 14h flight with a 3 hour break in Qatar as well...a long haul..
I will start writing in my blog soon...but...I need the right inspiration for it...
I saw so many things,met so many wonderful people...made new friends etc...
still...I can say the housemates which I know here...they will always be close to my heart...
I am proud of you all...you all keep this thread alive...it's a lovely thread indeed...
and it will stay that way..oh...I tamed a few Malaysian parrots on Penang Hill(ahah)
and even a python as well...====see pictures...

it is sometimes not easy to get online in Malaysia or Singapore...lack of time,no internet...well...you know..
I started my blog today again..please go and read about my adventures...
I took over 700 pics in 3 weeks time...some of them real crazy ones...i am not normal anyway...
Ithis pic shows me in Haji Road=Singapore town...i wanted a Belgian Duvel beer..
never payed 7 euro's for a Duvel..but in Singapore..I did...bloody expensive..but it tasted good anyway..

hi Blu.. grandchild whose birthday it was is a boy! I'm not really a spoiler, never give them anything with sugar in it, & don't spend very much money on them, but I never get angry or yell at children.. I find it funny & can't help laughing when they get up to mischief, so we're the best of friends..
