Yeah, stuff like chlorine will sooner or later destroy the rubber itself of course. Over a long period of time. I would always rinse very well. Maybe soak first like the pros do. With gloves or mittens and booties, and a hood you could be swimming in the ice flow rivers. Fire Department rescue people do that. You too could be a rescue volunteer. Hey why not?
Hi penguinsfan13. What's happening? Will ya help us keep the ball rolling talk-wise while the Tiger is away for four weeks? Be a Co-Host? Stuff like, say hi and welcome any new visitors, to make 'em feel at home here. You "be da man". The dynamics can change when a man like Tiger leaves for even a bit. He's always been sort of the glue to this space, if you know what I mean. We should all endeavor to keep this thing moving forward and staying together. Love you all.
Good morning These fowl belong to my friend...we need some birds in the house, lol A good caption for this one I took would be "what chu lookin' at human...just keep on movin"
Yes, penguinsfan13, however, on-line, no one has any idea how shy you really are. That's the beauty of this Internet. Nobody really knows. LOL You can pretend to be Superman and other folks just have to go with whatever you say. You can become whatever you wish that you could be. Me? I'm James Bond on the Internet. Or Humphrey Bogart in the movie Casablanca. This is kind of what was really happening on Haight Street at the end of the 60s. If a shy guy or gal wanted to be more than they are they might dress as a Magician or a women as a princess or a faerie with wings. Everybody knew that you were what you presented yourself as. And over time you actually changed and grew and became that. Becoming a new and more powerful YOU. The you that you wish that you could become. Hey. Change is good. Becoming a butterfly is good. Growing to live your life the way that you wished that you could, is good. We all need to go beyond ourselves. We Grow to become MORE. Our job here on Earth is to become more awesome than we use to be. Bigger and Better. More Loving. More bold and self aware. Sharing the Love.
Hiya Molly. I am up to the scary and hated 'mundane' (cue scary movie music here). Laundry! *shriek* Dishes to do *whine* Green beans to pick (okay I can do that ouside.. soo Yay!) Some time today, I also need to create some oatmeal cookies without using refined sugar. That'll be something new and interesting. Cooking is NOT on my list of life skills.
I bought a Pram for when I babysit for my daughter ! Told our Dan when he came in last night " me and your mum just bought a pram " Guess what he Said ?
Mallyboppa, I'd like to be able to say to you that I'm up to no good, or that I'm busy changing the world, But now I'm a little too old for that. LOL
Kenny TIPs: I can see in your future either Boxes and boxes of cheap paper plates, or Looking forward to making payments on a low cost or used dish-washing machine. I recommend a dish-washing machine. I'm the pots and pans scrubber in our house. Laundry? Oh well. Everyone does that. Got no help for you there. Humans have used honey for a million years. Use that. Refined sugar is a recent invention. Add far less of the other liquids in the recipe to compensate for the wetness of the honey. Simply hippie recipe. Dry ingredient versus wet ingredient. Aim for a cookie dough type of dough consistency. i.e. fake it. You should learn to enjoy cooking and to experiment with it. Think of cooking as PAY TIME with tasty rewards. LOL If ya like ta eat ya should like to learn something about cooking. LOL (life skills) Like life skills that feed you isn't bad. Right? Its smart. Good luck.
Our old housemate made some wonderful oatmeal cookies using primarily our own applesauce for a sweetener... with a bit of honey, too... if I am remembering correctly. He never wrote down his recipe and it was always like you said, Kenny.. fake it until the dough feels right. I THINK this means until the dough holds together enough to do a cookie drop on a sheet. I ran out of time or bravery to try it yesterday... but cookies will be made!
I hope that you can brave the oatmeal cookies. Good luck. Blu3s. I should have said batter. Not Dough. I miss old tiger. How about you? Fan13? Did you hold a funeral for your battery? And how did that go?
