Run could simply be a river run.
Might refer to the river itself. Any river of any significant flow. = Run. Running river or rive run.
Or a road along a river might also be called a run. Perhaps. As in "there was a river run along side of the river itself."

It's going to be a beautiful day today. I am going to the Flea and Gypsy market to see what I can see. Going alone though....that grief and loss thing permeates my entire life.

And on that note...tell me what ya think of this. I have not been out, gone anywhere, done anything but hike alone for several weeks. A girlfriend talks me into going with her Sat night to have some supper and listen to a bit of music. I said no, several times.,she wouldn't take that for an answer. She, as my friend, said was getting me out of this house. So...I get ready yesterday...all dressed and cleaned up, feeling happy about going. Then, she texts me that her BF is coming to town after all and she is cancelling on me.

WTF? Who does that to someone who has been so down? And after she talked me into it.

over here in the united states we have this thing called expressions which is when you say something and mean something else. the thing you say is not meant to be taken literally. usually it is an exaggeration of the thing said but sometimes it can be something completely different from the thing said.
