I always wanted to hold on to the anchor when they drop it so I can plummet to the bottom of the ocean. Swimming up is the fun part. Swimming down and you are out of breath by the time you get to the bottom and then you are dead before you can get back up.
Applied for a job as a farm hand, the guy emailed me and wants to interview soon I'm SO hoping I can get this job! It'd be perfect for me and would take a huge weight off my shoulders.
Tiger, we got a hippie values discussion started and then you disappear. ?????? What! Where are you??
I think its time to start organizing and rearranging the house. I am sure I will stop in here from time to time during the day when I need a break....I only need to get started and then I will be ok. getting started is the tough part but once I do start I don't want to stop.
Well I hope your house looks wonderful when you finish! I went to my job interview.....guess who has two thumbs and is now a member of the workforce? THIS GIRL! I'm so excited, being unemployed was making me CRAZY and so ashamed of myself. Now that I have a job, I can be a productive and functioning member of our society. He's gonna start me out part-time at $8/hour and then hopefully end up full-time at $10/hour in the next few weeks. I am SO happy and so grateful for a job. I'll be working as his farmhand, but also assisting with his construction business. YAY
CONGRATULATIONS, Laci! Sounds like a perfect job for you and it will be teaching you new things and opening up your horizons.......I am happy for you.
I'll give my own opinion on this,Kenny...reason I did not reply==i was out on an opendoor GOA psytrance gig.. :bandana:
Did you have FUN? Nice to see you back. I just missed you. I want to be at a trancedance. Sounds too fun.
Now that's funny. LOL Can you say the opposite of that? I love people who know the difference between racist and prejudice. It's not funny at all. Huh? Oh well.
Shall I invite these dudes for a little concert in the house garden?(ahahah) :bulb: I bet Maura and Mally will go nuts..well...me too..you know.. oh well...just get these music vibes.... :bandana: we're all in this house together===ALL of us..you know... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hnVldyHRcjU if this bloody world is going to end?like so many predict it will?? well..then..listen here then..==I am a time bomb... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=foF5j4jMTI8
Had my first day on the job! Managed to put in a nine hour day x3 That's $72 bucks in the bank so far, need $300 to pay that horse board. Well anyway, he started me out helping with light construction work. I crawled up on top of a roof and helped stack shingles, and then we headed to a house we're remodeling. The family is SUPER RICH, they have a huge house, 40 acres of land, 3 garages (two of which are underground!), and all sorts of equipment (big truck, tractors, etc). They're nice, just have more money than they know what to do with, if you ask me, lol. Anyway, we're remodeling their master bathroom for them. I had to fill in nail holes with spackle, paint the vanity, do some detailed paint work. I also vacuumed the drawers, helped organize things, and just did the random tasks that my boss didn't like doing. After we finished up there around 4:30 or so, we drove a few towns over to pick up some newly hatched chickens, which are SUPER cute and chirped all the way home. Three of them have splayed legs, so they'll need to be in an incubator for another 3-5 days and given some vitamin injections before they're ready to join their siblings in the regular hutch I fell in love with one of them and named it Earnest. After that, we headed off to his farm and I did my farmhand duties for the evening- making sure all the chickens got put away, feeding/watering the other chickens, checking for any that looked unwell. So far I am in love with my new job, and I adore my boss. He's such a kind man and kept telling me what an amazing job I was doing, how great and smart I was, and it really raised my self-esteem and increased my sense of self-worth. He and I are most definitely kindred souls, and I think we'll get along beautifully. We had some really good discussions about life, morals, ethics, and philosophies. Another thing that I really, really like about the job is that it seems to help my mental/emotional state. Living with depression, you tend to get down on yourself all the time and it can be hard to keep going. I have an illness called Schizoaffective Disorder, meaning that I have kind of an over-active conscious that says negative things in my head a lot and morphs the way I see reality. This job keeps me busy, and that means my brain is busy all the time and doesn't have any time to overthink or get stressed out. I honestly think this job is going to be a huge blessing for me in a number of ways. I hope you guys are doing well and that life is going good. I wish I could give each and every one of you a big hug
I always wonder when i mention bad news and people hit the like button, if they are liking it to support me or if they like that things are going bad for me.
