hi hippies.. I've been vegan for 25 years.. vegetarian over 40 years.. I had an interest in macrobiotics so it's very easy to work out wholesome natural foods that are health giving.. look at Clinton - doesn't he look good..
my son told me about a wedding that happened in glastonbury last night.. the guy officiating was dressed as Jesus & my son was asked to play guitar as the groom wanted to sing his vows.. I've lifted this off facebook..
First "gig" at Glastonbury Festival under my belt. Tune in to The One Show at 7pm tonight (UK friends) and you might catch a glimpse of me behind a happy couple and Jesus Christ himself.

 

I just celebrated the 40th anniversary of my giving up meat-eating.

Everyone got called into work tomorrow but i put in for a vacation day. Double win. The last day of the week is always the hardest but since today is no longer the last day...today should be easier and tomorrow i wont have to work on the hardest day of the week.

 

Is today the last day of the week? Wow, I would have thought that it was Monday or Tuesday, today. Where am I at????

This must come from sitting around the house all day, and being retired and having not much to do, day after day.

It's not as though I'm not productive, mind you.
Why, just yesterday I invented something new! I made a Pina Colada and changed it up, by adding a jigger of Grenadine Syrup to it and giving it a big stir.
Ultra sweet YUM!


And I think that it may be vegetarian, too. I'm not quite certain.

Hmm i have a bottle of grenadine...i should start expirimenting with it. Or i could learn how to spell experament. Or i could do both.

 

I have Malibu Coconut rum, Mr & Miz T's Pina Colada mix. I guess that any would do fine. Big Glass. Half plus or more ice. Don't measure anything. Over the ice pour half rum, then half Pina Colada mix. Leave enough room for the Grenadine. Then pour a jigger to an once of the Grenadine. (sweeten to taste) We're going for sickening sweet here.

Then I stir it all up with a knife. It's a longer stirrer. Goes from White and Red, to Pink!

I'm thinking of naming it, "Rose Colored Glasses."

I have cottonmouth so bad. Ughh.

 

I love me some sweet drinks but that might be too much. Might be good though...i might consider trying it. Not sure what i have at home. I will have to check.

 

My favorite is a broken down golf cart. Half cranberry juice then a quarter amaretto and a quarter melon liquer

 

I make a lot of Russian Qualudes.

1/4 Vodka
1/4 Amaretto
1/2 Irish Cream

And I tend to fancy tequila and cranberries. I'm loads of fun when I start drinking those.

Went out to lunch with my aunt, uncle, and their three kids today. They're back from Hong Kong for 6 weeks x) It was fun to see the kids, but I was glad to leave when the time came. I just can't stand to be around children very long. My mom and I did some casual shopping around some amish antique stores, found some goodies. Also got to hold a 3 day old baby chicken, which was the sweetest thing ever- almost made me feel maternal. For a minute.

Glad to be home, need to walk the dogs at some point, and should clean out my ferret's cage since he got a new one today. Gonna give his cage to a friend of mine, then maybe ask my friend for his old cage.

Lots to do, lots to do! Never run out of things to do!
