Yeah, that whole hippie experiment kind of got killed by the straight people wanting to take it over for their selves to run it and to own. I tried to make the space for everybody. The original San Francisco commune had NO LEADERS. Nobody wanted to become a cop target. Some MOD (moderator) banned me for three months. And instead of taking this house over, started another thread, to control. Half of the folks went their and not here.

I was gone. Banned. So the house didn't have the same old flavor. People no longer did things together. And then they no longer shared their thoughts together in conversation. No more dinners, groups hanging in the living room smokin, no journeys into Golden Gate Park to see the to the hall of flowers, no hanging in the basement music studio, or walks on Haight Street. No People commendatory created by doing things all together as a group. No make believe time machine to the Summer of Love.

Some of the people really enjoyed the fantasy of pretending to live in San Francisco. It was something different to take us all out of our "regular" lives. Kind of like SIM City or some other alternative lives online game.

And people were beginning to know one another and to become much closer. It was a good thing.

I don't come into this space very much any more for fear of being banned once again. I just stay in the Church of the Good Earth space. I am left alone in there. The rest of Hipforums is not a safe place for me to comment in.


If you want to see the original house and neighborhood, and all of the rooms, then click on my name or my image square and go into my profile location. in my Gallery location is a folder with all of the House and other San Francisco images. (look into Architectual Stuff and Location, Location, Location) These image no longer show up in these web pages in this thread here, and because of the new server location change over. There are blanks where the pictures use to be in the earlier pages of this Hippie House thread.

In " Church of the Good Earth" at the bottom of that folder you'll see "Happy Hippie House Party. “Make New Real Friends.” See your home. "

That is where the original names of the folks are and where the image floor plans use to show up in the pages, before the image links were broken after the new server change over happened.

Thanks for the input,Kenny..as a matter of fact i feel sad that in a house this misunderstandings and grudges happen..
it should be a house of harmony,friendship and understanding where folks can talk and meet in the garden for a chat..
in your postings 12,14 and 16....well...in fact from all these folks i am the only one left...and pensfan=penguin...
we have to re organise this house...all rooms are in fact available...for the time being i reckon Maura,laci and penguin got a room..
P.S===Maura is in room 14 third floor...penguin in room 13=third floor...laci and her friend Ben in the attic room..
i would say to piece,moonglow and Mally===join us...I'll try to find what i posted somewhere about the occupancy of rooms..
one does not have to post every day...but at least give a sign you're still part of this house..any comments,suggestions are welcome..

So, anyway, if you want to change the world, you have to change some hearts and some heads. One person can truly change the world however it's much easier and a whole lot more fun to do, with a small group of friends.

Basically I made this space or thread as a Hippie check-in place. A starting point for folks who come to hipforums. A place of acceptance where people could hang out. A lot of other threads have people debating and slamming each other. I just wanted to create a warm safe place. People's new home base. A hipforums starting point for further explorations of the other threads. A Home. A place that you can always come back to.

Other threads are strictly on-topic single conversations. I wanted a free for all space where you could talk about anything.

People come and go, on-line. I wanted a meeting space where maybe, just maybe a person could make a new friend or two. For real. Who knows. It could happen. I met my lady on Match.com. That works. WE are 16 years now. On-line friends can become real world friends. It's not all that far from Liverpool to Belgium. Right?

Anyway, the world changes all of the time. We could help some of the world to change in a much better way. That's my thought.

Well thats a relief. I couldnt post every day if i wanted to.

 

Mally...the cottage is yours==stars gave it up on a definite decision..
you can even bring your misses or pets around if you wish..

I've always found that people are the most fun thing on the planet. I just love people. They're cool.

yes...I know what you mean..sometimes if 2 people have a grudge towards eachother...
and can't make up a solution or a decision...one ends up in a dead end street.. :devil:

in this house grudges are misplaced,unneccesary...it's against the whole hippie idea of love...
