I got into a bit of trouble, nothing too serious but I needed a good talking too.I feel better now a few things are out in the open. Anyway hi guys,it's good to be back.Hope I'm still welcome here as I need a little tea and sympathy. But you all seem like such nice people. And Kenny respect to you for always trying to keep positive. I'm posting from my phone now and it keeps going haywire,so it can be quite difficult to post but I'll try and check in again soon.
hi faery...look upon life as a candle...candles give light..and you are that light...so..come on..pull yourself up... :bulb: what a silly question to ask whether you are still welcome here...why shouldn't you be?of course you are.. you should again post in here like you used to...there are some great folks in here.. it's a house which is full of understanding..everbody is there for everybody else... :bandana: :bulb: that's the true spirit of being a hippie...it's a state of mind.. Would aspirin,or paracetamol or something like Nurofen help? I don't know if you have that brand in the States.Or do you mean emotional or mental distress?
I think analgesics help for a lot of things..too much of ibuprofen(Nurofen)should have effect on the stomach sometimes? I also think in a lot of cases it's better to take paracetamol..you should see a doctor for nagging pain,penguin.. I hate feeling sick,i do hope my surgery will be over soon..well..it will be on 24th...let's touch wood i went to a garden center yesterday and bought some freesia bulbs, which i planted in my front and back garden.. :daisy: if they come out...i will take a picture and post it here..what would our life be without flowers, music, nature, loyal pets? and of course last but not least friends who are trustful..honest and caring for each other.. freesia pic== http://www.drakealgar.com/freesia-flowers-p-310-in-Camden.html?osCsid=e1bb2da2bc335277b70b984ca776675e
My bedroom looks over a nice not to cultivated garden. My windows are wide. There is a wild area with a broken down shed.Foxes nest there and I sometimes see them. Also many birds and squirrels. We have wild rose bushes in the summer.I like to practice a little Zen in the morning just looking out sitting at my desk with my tea and a rollup.Yes I'm still smoking tobacco.Terrible habit I know, but it's one of my small comforts in this life.
@faery..yes..the U.K is fabulous for flower gardens..when I was in Kent I visited Sissinghurst,Goodnestone,Scotney and so on.. and some National Trust places like Leeds castle...Knole..the house of Rudyard Kipling etc..i simply loved it.. :daisy: http://www.gardenvisit.com/gardens/in/england/kent
Looks spectacular piece of my heart!. Ever try making a strawberry lemonade from your own fresh squeezed fruit? mm Hoping to start my own garden this year of vegetables and fruits (part of my new years resolution ) Nice thread you guys have got here!
I've been to Sissinghurst Tiger.I think it was the home of a literary author Vita Sackville West and she had her own printing press there, although I could be mistaken about this.
faery..Yes..You're right about Sackville West...she had a turbulent lifestyle..at least for that period in time.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vita_Sackville-West P.S..I loved Sissinghurst gardens..been there twice... https://www.google.be/search?q=sissinghurst+gardens+pictures&biw=1366&bih=568&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=j9f-VOSlKoSuOIaygdAB&ved=0CCEQsAQ
welcome back faerylights.. yes the stately homes with their beautiful gardens are great way to spend a holiday.. I used to live in Bath & Stourhead was a fabulous day out.. there's a place nearby called 'happy valley' where loads of people go to pick mushrooms in the autumn.. there are sheep grazing, & I wonder are they tripping out of their heads..
My doc told me to take Ibuprophen never asked why but thats what I always take for pain now. It helps but I only take them when it is stopping me from what I am doing.
Let's sit in the house garden...and listen to some spiritual music... spirituality is something we should try to bring into our life..it touches our soul and can go very deep... only then we will be able to escape a society based on consumption,violence,injustice,egocentrism.. and only then..we find ourself...and can be who we are...or can be?or will be? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT6pwwU4jJg
This music makes me so happy when I have nothing to do but so urgent to do stuff when I have lots to do.
