To all of my other sisters and brothers. Our house needs a big party, to welcome any new people who happen to come here in the next 4 days. I personally can't be here. Too much pile of work happening now. Can you my friends cover for me and get a your new party started? It only takes one to instigate. So then, who are my three biggest instigators, here.

Thanks Brother for the Canned Heat. Brings back great old memories. That song was a thing back when I was 17 and driving up the coast through Big Sur and playing the can radio traveling with two friends from Southern Cal. Desert to San Fran in Summer of 68. We were a year too young for the 67 Monterrey Pop Festival and the "Summer of Love" but Going up the Country was still LARGE on the car radio. North bound on the Pacific Coast Highway, in the cool WIND.

Thanks for the welcome, Old Tiger, its a pleasure to be here. Such a fun and happy place. Here's some food I can share, although I've never made this recipe. Looks good to me, but that fruit really looks better! Makes me want to make a fruit salad...anyway, thanks again and I look forward to getting to know everybody!

Why yes...that's me last spring. I'm not much on cooking but I do have a green thumb.

 

I can try to cook for the house, but my recipes only turn out about half of the time, lol. Maybe my son can help me. He is turning out to be a better cook than I am. Glad to be part of the group. <3

 

Old Tiger, what are the best recipes from those Belgian desserts? Everything looks delicious on that site!

How about something like this for dinner? Anybody like homemade falafel with avocado? Its one of my favorites. Not this exact recipe though, another one I can't dig up right now cuz its in my paper recipe box lol. Remember when we used to write things down with paper and pencil? over here we got lots of kebab shops...I lOVE durum kebab...
durum is different then doner kebab==it looks similar to falafel..
i'll try to find some information about the recipes..
just take a room and your kid can stay as well...place enough in this house...
