I'm "re-building" my house in real life... Trying to get stuff done before winter hits.


Then I get to gather enough firewood for heat...


I'm cutting it to close. there's too much to do.

 

Greetings Laci! Despite the clouds, it was warm and humid here today (about 76 degrees!). I'll gladly take it! Work at the supermarket was crap as usual. Hopefully it's not raining too heavily when I go out for laundry tomorrow.

 

Does your house rely solely on firewood heat?

Sucks that the supermarket job isn't the best! I couldn't work with other people like that....*is grump*.... The best job I ever had was working as a farm hand on a petting zoo/farm. I was in charge of myself and worked only with animals, not people.

 

But literally, these people ARE animals Laci! OK...not quite what you dealt with, but anyways. Deli departments are the worse, especially on a Sunday. If a hurricane or a Nor'Easter is coming up the coast towards Connecticut, all bets are off! Today wasn't all that bad, thank goodness. (Helps that it was warm and not raining outside yet!) :argue:

good morning hippies.. sun's shining here in liverpool, but I'm getting stressed by my living situation.. no water in the kitchen, we'll have to go to the laundrette by car, as eventually there's nothing clean to wear, or to dry dishes with.. This too will pass (my grumpyness) as I can usually accept things as they are in a philosophical way..
@ Laci.. the whole gun issue is different here in Europe as Tiger says.. but the gun control issue is a loaded topic stateside (oh-oh there was no pun intended)
when I was a child in rural ireland in the 50s my father had guns, as all farmers did to shoot 'vermin' ie foxes, rats, rabbits who damaged things, but guns were never associated with crime or violence.. those days are gone, & now ireland has all the problems of developed countries, but the very tight laws around owning a gun means farmers don't possess them, but criminals do.. however those guys don't go into schools..
I can't imagine how it feels to know you can have such a bad experience in your school.. but it sounds like you have a good life.. love to all..

Hello everyone! How ya doin' today? I just got home from school, and Ben and I enjoyed some good herbs. We're chillin' back at my house eating Oreos and watching Fat Albert, Albert just got his kiss from that girl who called him her best friend. Then he goes into the song sequence xD
