Sorry to hear about your second cataract surgery Tiger. Both my eyes are still doing well after my operations but I need glasses for reading and the computer.

I may have mentioned that my kitchen in my liverpool house is ripped to bits as there was a burst pipe in July.. my brother (& defo one of the tribe, but doesn't do cyber) & my son are living here & fixing it up, as both are carpenter/joiners.. it's great to be together for a few weeks, & as I'm strictly vegan & close to macrobiotic in my way of living it's a challange trying to produce cooked wholesome food without a kitchen!

Why hello, everyone! *takes a seat in the livingroom, curled up in a hanging chair*

So, today has been pretty interesting. I had school, found out a kid brought a gun to school last Friday with intent for suicide. The scary thing is he had the gun with him for 6 hours while at school (with ammo!), and no one knew until someone reported it. This kid was able to come into school with a loaded gun, and no one knew. It's terrifying- we have no protection system against guns/knives, etc. I really wish they'd install metal detectors at the door or something! I feel for the kid, I really do as I know him, but knowing someone could bring a gun in for that long and no one knew is so, so scary. Otherwise, today has been a good day. Ben's bringing home some pizza before he runs off to college, so I have something to eat (what a doll!) and I plan to spend the evening curled up in bed, reading a book, and relaxing. It's been rainy and muddy out lately, and this weather makes me want to curl up in a ball and hide!

I just got up while holding my phone that was plugged in. The cord got caught and yanked the phone from my hand. Bobbled it but caught it. But then i plugged the cord back in and it wont charge.

@Maura...always nice to hear these Irish pub songs with violins etc...if you play that kind of music in the house garden==i will give a demonstration of riverdance(ahah)
@Laci..it must be like a paranoid feeling if someone comes into a school yard with a loaded gun,that will not happen over here in Belgium,first there is a strict law to obtain or keep a gun,but there are always folks who can escape that restriction..what happens sometimes over here is steaming==couple of friends harass somebody,steal his mobile phone,beat him up etc..I think it's awful and scary for the victim..schools got rules here,few years ago a girl was refused in a school with bit more strict laws because her hair was coloured punk style and piercings etc...I think in schools or on the streets there should be more control..
@Moonglow..what do you mean with you getting stuck into a planetarium???aren't we all stuck?

it's a sunny day over here,no wind or cold...and that for October 15th...Wooh..my motorbike is at the dealers..he told me something inside the motor itself is not allright..i drove 73.000kms on that engine..I do hope I get it back soon,since I LOVE driving that bike..I'm gonna work a bit on my travel blog...

@tiger. Thats what i thought. I was sure it snapped inside. But in a last ditch effort i shut the phone down took everything apart plugged it in....and then waited about 30-45 seconds and poof it started working.

As for being stoned, i think i been stoned once in the last 6 years...maybe twice. Had to give it up for work.

 

Not sure about the blue ones...

Laci wanted to party and the purple ones will send you on a solo trip for three days. Not quite the "party" kind of situation. They do make you float about a foot off the ground though...
