Yes I'm here for a bit! Just fed the dogs, rabbits and fish, and have to feed humans in awhile! Yes I thought Melanie was the ultimate Flower Child. I saw her perform at Glastonbury Festival last summer and she did Candles in the Rain (in the rain!) and it sent chills up my spine. Back in the Daze people were always telling me I looked like her.

Just put the Dead on cos I love that track.

It is amazing how many of the pictures that come up in a search that are obviously faked modern costumes of what somebody thinks are 60's flower children.... Most being on websites that want to sell you fake 60's garb...

As for a male flower child, I would think Donovan would fit the bill quite well. I couldn't find a good picture though.
