hi Tiger, how about a yurt? I'm back in hibernation in uk, as we have snow, very cold. This time of year usually has all the magic of Spring. This is unblievable. A yurt would be warm as well as beautiful.. oh, my name is Maura..

Hello all my hippy dippy friends- - Been concentrating on getting the NJ beach house in sell able condition - - FeMa finally sent the big check that I was waiting for- -(man, think it took them long enuff??)- - So with a little luck ,maybe Ill break even - the worse is losing things that can never be replaced - destroyed ,or washed out to sea- -

On the lighter side winter is trying to finally leave Connecticut- I think when all this drama settles down- I need to decompress by taking a nice vacation in some place warm -- Ive lived in SoCal for yrs back in the 80,s and havent been back for a visit since 2007, so as soon as Im able I think jeannie & myself are going to visit some old hippiefriends in HuntingtonBeach-
The surfing days may be over- but I never tire of the ocean
Maybe we can parley the sale of the Jersey cottage into a HB cottage..??... Hey having dreams that are even a little bit attainable is good for the head-
    loveyouguys

hi Junglejack.. that's good new about your NJ house.. I'm new here, but I was felt sad for you & Tyrsonswood.. both of you losing your homes & precious things.. I hope love is still blooming for you!!
Tiger, I know the yurt will take up a lot of space, but would be a magical place for the insomniacs to gather, candles, incense...

I never did like patchouli.. back in the day anyone who used it left a lingering aroma for months/years on everything they touched!! My stoner days are over too, though they were great fun.. magical memories of tripping in the 70s.. but I have no objections to the roomies doing whatever.. the pagan creed 'do what thou wilt, but harm none' makes good sense to me, though I'm not a joiner.. I get a feeling of the chains tighening & want to break free.. good to see the house coming back to life.. _/\_ namaste..

I like patchouli..and ylang ylang...about these incense sticks.. they do not give a smell which stays for months..i burn lots of stuff with a candle under it..I like my room to smell nice...about smoking..that's up to everyones personal attitudes..one does not become a hippie by smoking pot, doing LSD trips etc..it's part of it..so are the clothes, hairdo etc..it's more the INNER feeling and attitude that count..that's more important..oh yeah..I would give this house a kick again if I can..but..I cannot post to myself..that would be a silly thing to do..I'm glad anyway that some folks are getting out of their wintersleep..
    spring will come soon..

oh well..my cat has gone bezirk..she likes Bob Marley(ahah)

  17. Patchouli is what I wear, have been doing for ............oh..................40 years or more. I know that it's not everyone's cup of tea but it suits me. I love the fact that it "lingers". It is jusy becoming more difficult to buy. I have had people in the street stop me and ask where I bought it. I do also quite like a wee vanilla fragrance I came upon in my travels. Anyway what you all doing. I just planted some new hash seeds now that we have 12 hours of daylight. :seeya:

One of the problems with Patchouli is finding the right brand... Not all are the same.
