do you like the snow? we have no snow yet.we might get some an we might'nt.

 

Right now I like our new heater! The snow didn't last very long or stick. The cats kept going out then coming in to visit the heater. Lil Bear the youngest took one look and came back in. lol

 

must have been a light snowfall so.had ye no heater til ye got the new one?is it electric or gas ?

 

We just got two new electric heaters today. Our gas furnace died and we have used kerosene heaters for 3 winters. Kerosene was getting too heavy for us to deal with so we have little electric heaters.

But more expensive... At least here, but it is in most places.

 

It was a light snow indeed!

Ours heaters are electric. They're safer around the cats. The trick is to shop the thrift stores in June/July.

 

Going to get the kerosene, having to lift big cans into the car, having to pour from the cans into the heater canisters, just was too much for us to deal with physically.

Plus it only gets really cold here a few days at a time.

 

I fully understand... I was just saying electric is costly. ...

 

Not feeling all that great today I am really not wanting to do the late night shift tonight!! uughhhh!!!!!!

oh, and the wheelchair is just bcos of the stitch (from "virtually" practicing the hula all day), and the joint-pain etc etc etc... not feelin' too great atm... (in real life)

ARRRGGGHHH! Missed everything last night, in the real world visitors turned up last night unexpectedly, stayed for dinner and wouldn't leave until late. It was nice to see them, but they insisted on talking about golf (yawn!) all night. I'd rather have been partying with you guys!.

Anxiously waiting for news on the goat front.

 

I'm waiting for the goat kids too, I knitted them some socks

My electric heater is dangerous! We have nothing now because when I plugged it in, an hour later the actual plug was red hot and smoking a little. I'm too scared to plug it again, I had to take it out of the socket wearing oven gloves!

 

Don't worry about the party last night..it was postponed up till a later date..
when everybody can join in full force...

oh.. a new visitor to the house...apart from the newborn goats of course..

We all miss something sometimes in our life..lovebuzz..
I felt very sorry few days ago that due to unforseen circumstances...
i could not attend the gig reggae versus flowerpower...
Jimmy(my friend DJ)just let me know that only 20 people came along...
and that this gig..is forever cancelled in the future..a pity really...
i loved these reggae versus 60's music issues..well..
the key to life...is very often hidden in our hearts...
and we have to keep that key..and unlock the door..
when time comes along...and all will be peace as we see it..:sunny::2thumbsup:

well, i, for one, enjoyed the little party... especially the boys in their skirts... looking forward to the big crazy one at some point in the near future :2thumbsup:

so, the goats are def born then? welcome to this wonderful world little kids... watching them leap around will be a big tonic to our hearts :sunny:
