Afternoon pixie (that is my cats name ) Where abouts in the UK are you? I'm London! It's all grey and rainy this afternoon
Well yeah...but we did get about 6 days of summer And saying that, the rain seems to have stopped, still grey but only grey and windy now!! I'm lucky that I absolutely love the rain!
We had nothing but summer since March. AND very little rain to speak of at all. I am ready for it to be cooler and to have some rain. Today is sunny though. Will take that as well. :sunny:

Night all, Pixie and I were almost asleep cuddled on the sofa and she rolled over and fell on the floor! She is now attacking the beads in my hair. Pippin made an expression that seemed like he was rolling his eyes at Pix as if to say 'the youth of today *sigh*' Namaste
my favourite seasons are autumn and winter i love it when its cold and crisp while im out walking my doggy
Autumn is definitely my favourite  I love the colours so much, browns oranges reds and yellows everywhere
Thanks everyone for your good wishes for my Grandma. She was an amazing lady.Lived till 93.Was a Bob Dylan fan.Developed very liberal left-wing politics as she got older. Was a nurse in the 2nd World War.Studied History at college aged 70.Worked as a Samaritan (Free phone counselling for people with personal problems suicidal etc) in her 70s and put up homeless people in her own home.We were really good friends. Family had a nice Lunch together in the village pub afterwards...All in all a profound and meaningful day. Most of my family have the things I don't have however - Jobs, cars, secure relationships and marriages, children - so I often feel a bit "low status" with them...They are usually very nice to me though, and it's nice to have a family.
Cats....errrr....safe bone between me and :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: its hot folks! ps; nice cats!
Your grandma sounds like she was a very strong hearted and kind woman Fairlight. Both my grandparents were in the war, my grandma was also a nurse and that is how she met my grandad!! Faelixx, I absolutely love your cats! Look how fluffy daddy cat is, and his eyes
