My boring life...Oh well...I stayed over at my friend Tony's last night in Bethnal Green,East London,which is where I lived from the age of 7 to 23...I hadn't been back for some time.Tony's Staff puppy Leon has grown considerably since I last saw him.He's so cute and has such a nice character.Came back early on the tube and had eggs on toast at a cafe and caught a few early morning rays sitting outside the cafe.So you signed up to Hip Forums Mama? Is it complicated to do that? Maybe you could let me know as I'd also like to sign up some time...Maybe we're in for a mini Indian Summer here in London.Sometimes I like the sun and sometimes I don't...Today I like it!

 

I hope we get a little heat so i can bare my little feet

Yeah I clicked on forum options (on the little bar just underneath where it tells you which forum/thread your in) and from that drop down I clicked donate, it then tells you what to do but if you go for it dont forget to include your username in the message you can attach with paypal! My husband, Charlie, is in the hospital. He collapsed Saturday and we rushed him to the hospital. They found three major blockages in his heart, and two malignant spots on his right lung. Tomorrow he will be having surgery for a partial lung removal. Once he's healed up from that they will be putting stents in the blockages in his heart. We are SO thankful for all the thoughts and prayers being sent our way! Keep them coming! Love to all.


Thanks for keeping him in mind. His surgery will be this afternoon sometime.

Just had the worst night. Babyp broke out in a fever, refused to eat or drink anything all day, rash all over and boiling hot to the touch. Took her into hospital and was there 5 hours, they needed a urine sample - from a fricking toddler, I spent 3 hours trying and nothing, screaming baby too. She just down right refused to drink. She's only gained 2lbs in the past 6 months

We are home now and to go back tomorrow for tests

MamaP, I hope Baby has cooled off some and you both can rest.

My brother-in-law's surgery went very well. I was amazed that he was awake and talking as soon as they brought him out of the recovery room and back into his room. It's really amazing that the upper lobe of his lung was removed through a puncture in the side wall of his chest, instead of the large incision it would have required had they done it the other way.

Basically, it was this:

 

My ex was a blues/rock singer and they did something similar to remove her gall bladder rather than cut her abdominal muscles.

I'm worried about BabyPeace.

We are still the same I'm afraid no food or drink, still hot as can be, still trying to get a sample for them to test. Poor baby, wish I could swap with her. It's almost mid day, she didn't wake until 10.30am, and went back to sleep at 11am, its so not like her at all. Usually we would be blowing bubbles or painting or just running round like crazies by now! All shes had in the past 24 hours is half a small cup of water that I had to feed her through a syringe!
Will keep you posted, might not know anything for a few days. Thanks for your thoughts x
