I don't know what kind of stone it is that I found...it's yellow and white... there was another red one I had out today but my daughter threw it somewhere outside and we couldn't find it.

Anyway, I have this nice yellow stone and it's been on me all day.

 

That sounds like Citrine.

 

Sounds good. The red could be jasper.

 

Yellow Jade. or a white quartz pebble (Milk Quartz) with rust on the surface, and not enough to be orange rust. Much more likely.

Yes a decent quality pic would help identify it. I have pieces of tumbled Citrine with dense inclusions that appear as white.

Is not always a transparent/translucent. 'Massive citrine is not however gem quality citrine is. Yellow jade is possible but yellow jasper is most common.
