I'm actually working on a painting of my mother from one of my favorite photos of her.I don't usually like working from photos, but in this case it's working out fine. It's going to be a present for my mum's partner, who still lives.(My Mum and Dad divorced when I was three.)

  2. Good afternoon all! And what a good day it is!;)

etherea i am so sorry i was sitting around and i never put on the coffee. luckily you seem upbeat enough without it but that dosnt justify my ignorance. sometimes its easy to forget being that i dont drink it myself but still the first person up should have a little courtesy.

edit: then again being your in Europe. maybe you dont need it.

Fair, that painting sounds lovely, i just finished up a painting last night.

Afternoon etherea, your one hour ahead of me I believe! It will be afternoon in 20 minutes ;)

  5. Coffee would be great thanks Pensfan! Yeah Mama I'm one in front of you. It's 1:20 hear right now and thankfully I've just finished the ironing so coffee would be spot on guys! I'm toying with the idea of going for a haircut after tea. Just a little bit off but it still needs doing. I go to a wee Chinese guy who gives me a head massage before cutting and he doesn't charge so there really is no excuse not to go. Right now it's all sticking out and weird (nothing new there) because I just let the sun dry it after swimming in the sea this morning so I'll get him to wash it too. That's the plan anyway but we'll see. Anyway, enough of me what you all doing? ;)

Are you Okay with mix 'em up clouds?

Or if you want just one type please say so and guess we'll with that. Let us know.

Do you think that we should do a right now, Friday afternoon and evening concert on Mount Davidson?

As it's is already, past noon in the Eu and the UK. We'd need to start in a few hours. I would actually be asleep by concert time.

    Ranger? On or Off?

People who don't feel like getting out could just stay here and chat and cook food.
Any others who want to do and afternoon evening party concert on a mountain top looking down upon the top of the very low clouds cover that is all Tye dye, paisley, cotton candy clouds could hop into the bus or the van and we could drive south to the top of Mount Davidson.

    Hi etherea,

Afternoon/ evening party? You? Yes/ No? Because you are the earliest time Zone. What are you up for or just hanging at the house.

I think that it's going to be just 3 or 4 local (San Francisco) bands. The house time machine setting was never set back from that 1969 setting so it's probably sounds from like Woodstock time and before that. Unless any any wants to reset the time machine.

    Hi Peace and Fair,
Next time zone is UK. So Fair and Peace are you hinging at home or are you feeling like getting out?

    Cool, We're a GO!

etherea, I'm aiming for afternoon your time so that you can still look down on the clouds cover and see all of the rainbow colored clouds before the Sun sets. And for the friends in the UK. old tiger is not around.

At he house it's all very low gray clouds. But wait till you see the Sunshine top part.

Our hippie van is sitting in the Driveway in front of the house.
Someone (not us) will shuttle back and forth all afternoon and evening. You all just com and when you way to.

If you want to see pictures.
Here's some picture of the place so that people get the cloud tops idea.

Can you imaging looking down on nothing but clouds to the horizon in every direction? Color clouds. Wow.

Okay, our van will be going and coming all all times. You just jump in and say hi to our friend who is driving it. Get back to the house the same way.

  15. Yeah, I was just reading what you said about temperatures. Here right now it's 35ºC
(95ishºF) and 25ºC (77ºF) in the middle of the night so some cool mountain air would be good. I've got a mountain right out the back that you can see in my "my back yard" album, but it's still too fucking hot up there in the summer! By the way our "summer" can last from May right through to November so it will be a while before I feel a cool breeze in real life ;)

    Hi Housemates -

I have a huge day ahead. I've got to find a treatment facility for my son. So much is riding on this. His wife wants him out of the house (as in divorce) because she is so fed up with his drinking.

He felt beyond help yesterday when he came to me. He has tried many times to stop drinking and like he said, the alcoholism has just ended up worse every time.

This is so emotional for his daughters, his wife, him, my husband and me.

I feel a huge responsibility is on me. I have to find the "right" treatment facility for him, and do it quickly, before he loses his "want to". If he doesn't get help and stop the drinking, he will lose his home and his family. If that happens, I'm afraid we all may lose him.

My brother died from addiction. My parents weren't able to help him save himself.

I have to save my son. My granddaughters need their daddy to be well.

Please send us all the good vibes you can.

    Love to All.

    etherea,

Yeah, San Francisco as the coastal ocean current coming down from Alaska. Birrrrrr. It is surrounded on three side by cold water. It's a very stable climate it the Winter or the Summer. And it's always far cooler the inland is.

Here's a shopping list of local bands who will come out and play for free concerts in the park.

I was thinking like 3 or 4 groups for the concert. Each does a set of maybe 4 to 8 songs. Something like a real concert thing might be. Maybe not as many songs.

Like we could chat at the show in between each song and then play the next song. Stop and talk and eat while there is a nice break between the bands sets, and we all might talk to each other about stuff.

Just a concept. I'm probably going night night in the next hours anyway. You, or Trysonswood, Aerianne, or some body else should run the sets and produce the concert.

These bands have a short drive to the site. Please somebody pick a first Act. Thanks.
    S.F area groups.

Play a song, we'll talk, another song and so forth. I've got lots of food packed. Right now I'm going over there to set up all of the sound on stage. Remember you can go back stage.
