Ahh. I see movement in the kitchen. Good Morning.

Careful of those buckets by the sink. I just came back from picking Purple Hull Peas, Cuks and yet more Squash.

I'll do the pickles and bread and freeze the squash if someone else shells the peas. That big stainless steel bowl in the cupboard works well for the peas and you can put the hulls in the bucket as you go.

But first I think I will sit here for a minute and have a little tokie. Sorry about the mud on the floor, it rained last night. I'll take a mop to it when I get done puttin' up the veggies. No sense in doing it twice.

I hope everyone had a good night last night and the storm didn't keep you awake. I sleep best when there's a storm. It seems to sooth me.

I just had our third great grand child last week. That makes 3 all together, two boys and one girl.

I got all of the peas done. Are there more?

 

Wow! I've been clearing out the garden and the greenhouse, you wouldn't believe all the crap I found. Windchimes that broke and fell into the grass and got all rusty, loads of that bubble wrap stuff, big plastic sacks that dog food comes in, millions of flower pots etc etc. Rob is going to put it all in the car and take it to the tip (the dump, in USA!). I've washed up all those dishes in the kitchen and now I'm going to have a clothing cull. Shoes, boots, dresses, jeans and tie dyes going free in my room!

Yes Kenny, there is a bucket and a half left over there by the back door. When the jars come out of the dishwasher I'll be busy filling them up with pickles.
