900 mg of Neurontin cold turkey? No, no, no..... Too bad you found out the hard way. (and luckily you still have some around) BTW, have you tried Lyrica yet? It's not up for generic yet but if you have prescription coverage it's affordable.... Without coverage, not so much. (shit is expensive) It's a weird drug but seems to be working for me, not 100% but I'll take any improvement I can get at this point. Anyways... Mornin' all! There's a fresh pot brewing right now... Mild roast and espresso ground. Nice!
Heya peeps,I could go for a cup of coffee.. it's again a rainy day over here.. but deep down in me..the summer is there fuck..I hate rain...let's listen to this song then.. by the way...who's taking care of the flowers in our house garden?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ztx7Wi_te3Y&feature=related"]Runrig-Flower Of The West - YouTube

'Morning Ty. I think I was on Lyrica 3 years ago when I lost my insurance and had to taper off all my meds. I can't afford it now, which is why Dr.Genius put me on Neurontin instead. I'm just going back to my predictable Tylenol and Naproxen. I can't afford this pain doc. I can't afford the $517 Cortisone injections he wanted to put in my knees. I'm not able to take Neurontin. I'm not paying for the $400+ urine screen he popped on Monday. All he is able to prescribe for me now is two 5/325 Hydrocodone/Tylenol a day. I can do the math. $89 office visit + $42 to fill the prescription, every month = I cannot afford this crap. I'm done. I hate doctors.
I don't blame you in the least... The healthcare system has turned into the Wealthcare system. We get to care for their wealth. Was the urine screen to make sure you aren't taking drugs, or to make sure you are taking drugs? Weird how that works... My problem is I could grow everything I need in my backyard, but "they" won't let me... Rat Bastards! :cuss::banghead:
Tiger,I'm taking care of the plants today but there is a rota up if you want to add your name to it.The only stipulation is...... do notforget your turn because if you do Iwill tie you to a post in full sun no shade and keep you without water for a whole day!
@etherea...ahah...you funny Scottish woman you... I'll not survive being tied to a post in the scorching Californian sun.. HELP..HELP..who's gonna untie me??
I guess it was to make sure I am taking drugs. I think that's how the nurse worded it. Weird since that was just my second visit to them. I'd only been on meds for 30 days anyway. I think the doc got pissed off when I told him I couldn't afford the injections. He knew this. He knew I had no insurance when he prescribed Neurontin vs Lyrica. Then he got mad when I asked him if I could add Ultram like I was on 3 years ago. He told me No because you're on Cymbalta. I'm like no I'm not. I'm on Celexa that I just started a month ago. Then he whips out a piece of paper I hurriedly signed in the waiting room. He says you signed that you were taking Cymbalta a few minutes ago. I was like that says Cymbalta? Why would it say Cymbalta? I'm not on Cymbalta - I'm on Celexa like I told you last month. He kept waving that damn piece of paper in my face telling me that I had signed that I was on Cymbalta. I'm like My mistake for signing it dude, but your people's mistake for putting it on there. It should say Celexa like I told you last month. That's when he goes Yeah, well you're getting a Urine Screening. I got home and told Hubs and he was like oh hell no. They did one on me a few months back and a lab sent me a $400+ bill. I was like, Shit I thought that was included in the office visit fee... So anyway, it was a bad experience all around. He can shove his 10 mg hydrocodone everyday and set it on fire with the bill for the urine screen.
Hey, whoa, if you could grow medicine in your backyard how would pill pushers afford their sports cars?!
I had to take one on my first visit in order to get the prescriptions he just wrote... "No pee in the cup, no meds from us." The screen cost about $425, luckily I didn't have to pay all of that. Thing is he has never prescribed opiates and neither has anyone else. They were trying to catch me doing street drugs, it's a new law in Ohio for pain management patients. What an ass!... anyways, Ultram and any SNRI/SSRI drugs, including Celexa, is not a good idea. You run the risk of serotonin syndrome. Did Ultram (Tramadol) ever actually worked for you? I had it about 4-5 years ago and it didn't do squat. Of course at the time I was going through a wicked Cymbalta withdrawal... (120mg to none, cold turkey) Tramadol made everything worse, almost put me back into serotonin syndrome. Right! I'm still seeing mine, but next visit I'm going to see if we can drop it. My GP doc can prescribe what I'm on now. The pain management doc want's to do facet injections even though he said they won't do any good... He still wants to do them. (Why, gee Doc. You get paid good money for that, huh... {We need an icon with middle finger extended} ) He has gotten all, or most, of his other patients off opiates by burning their nerves... Another Ohio state law they are trying out... No more schedule pain meds long term. EXACTLY! :banghead: Anyways... where's my coffee? :coffee:
:coffee: found it Ty! Your always leaving half empty mugs lying around! Hopefully, I'll have some pictures later for you all of the degu house! I have all my materials now, literally on a :coffee: break during bringing all the wood up 2 stories! As soon as they are up I shall be getting started and hopefully finish before it gets dark!
Ha no problem, be sure not to waste any next time. Coffee = my precious Degu house is half done but I've run out if screws!!

That's a very interesting but also alarming issue,dancing.. I really think that the Amazon basin is destroyed by political decisions sponsored by multinationals,in search for imago, financial gain.. they lack the human dignity towards their fellow mankind... nature is treatened...I hope that petitions for the Belo Monte project will show the Brazil govt.. they are wrong..very wrong with this project.. it's not only happening in Brezil, but also in Greenland where mining is investigated, Nepal is getting deforestated and it causes floods, landslides etc.. since my nick is tiger...i' wanna show a short video in room 15 about tigers...can I do that, dancing?? these species are in danger all over the world.. why the hell are poachers so active??? the same goes for the Indian rhino's in Kaziranga park in Assam... thanks, dancing for showing us this eye opener about the Belo Monte dam.. do you mind if we have regular video presentations in room 15?? I'll be over to room 15 soon! Still half way through my building project and having to improvise because they cut my measurements wrong well one of them, which screws the whole thing! I'm good at improvising though
