I'm just planning the designs for the new cage I'm making for my degu's, shop bought ones are so unreliable!! Plus it gives me a hobby

The most cutest animals ever! Here are mine, I have 4 (Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Eric lol but I'm renaming them as they don't suit the names) They are like a cross between squirrels and gerbils.

That is amazing MamaPeace.I looked after my friends gerbils once went he went on holiday.They must give you a lot of pleasure.

 

They do Recently though with babypeace learning to walk she has started to poke things through the gaps in the cage so I've decided to just start fresh and diy a wooden cage and put glass sliding doors on, that way I can make it bigger too (they are really active/love to explore and love to climb) and I can add loads of fun things for them to do as well, plus it will likely work out a lot cheaper than going out and spending another £100+ on a cage that just isn't properly suitable for them!

 

You guys are both in London and don't seem to know anybody.

What if tomorrow you each jumped on the Tube and met in the Rose Garden in Hyde Park?
How difficult would that be???

Might require doing a P.M. with each other's ph # and then a call. Or you could just arrange a time to meet, here with a post.

You guys are so lucky. The rest of us can't get together like that. It would be a major undertaking for any of us.
