Apparently, it's a blocked eustachian tube. I've never experienced anything this painful. I have a high pain tolerance but this pain has been making me cry. It's like the pain from a tooth that needs a root canal but worse. I haven't had any antibiotics in 4 years or more, but I broke down and started taking some today.

 

ouch.... do you know grapefruit seed extract? natures antibiotic good to take when it first starts. Sounds like it is needed now... it must be dreadful .... sending some peaceful vibes your way xxx

 

Thank you. I eat garlic everyday. I know I got into some mold/mildew cleaning at home. It gave me some sinus and cough symptoms. I guess stuff got stuck in my tubes. If I hadn't started the antibiotics then I'd check into the grapefruit seed extract. I'll keep that in mind.

Off to do some more cleaning and moving of junk around here.

 

Do you have a piece of turquoise stone? if you rest that in the ear big enough to fit but not to fall into the canal ... this works wonders with ear infections ... I shamanic crystal heal and have had astounding results with this stone and holding it in a childs ear while they rested .... i bet you have a piece somewhere....

 

Aerianne: hope you are feeling better soon. I have been catching up on my reading here but not posting much at all. This heat is just getting to me. "They" are telling us that it will be 104 today but that we will have a cool down to 88 tomorrow. That is still too hot for me these days.

Dancing: how long before you are up and around under your own power? I had both of my hips replaced (2006, 2009) and I know how frustrating it can be not to get around. Not to mention all the pain. Be well. :grouphug:

Morning everyone! Can't believe it's raining again, the whole country is sodden.
Aerianne, I really hope the ABs kick in soon, that sounds awful. Hope you feel better very soon.
Dancing, are you still in the wheelchair? I hope that gets sorted out soon, I was in a wheelchair for about 3 months before I had my first knee replacement, so I know what a pain it is.

Because of all the rain, the blackcurrants in the garden are massive, about the size of grapes. I just hope we get enough sun for them to ripen before we move house in Real World. I usually make blackcurrant jam which lasts all year, so I hope I can this year.

Hi! Everyone! Just back from a cycle ride so am delighted that coffee is ready and waiting...... you guys are great! Got to repair some clothes today...... you know me, queen of the second hand markets and stores. Some fab stuff from the other day and nothing more than 5€. I think I'll take my work basket out into the garden and make the most of this fine weather

I hope you slept well. I love shopping at Thrift Stores, we have a free store I go check out a few times a yr. I mostly get Hubilicious' work shirts there. He goes throught them like there is no tomorrow.

When I buy him something New, he's not alloud to wear it outside for a month. Then if he tears it up it's not New anymore..lol
