    @crazy...yes...the climate..a real subject to discuss...:confused:
in Belgium nowadays we got more rain and wind..
then I ever have seen in my entire life...
I love the sun..flowers in bloom, spring or summer in the air...
but...has it been taken away from us??
they talk a lot about the ecosystem??the effects of global warming?
the melting of the icebergs in Greenland???or what else???
what can we simple human beings???do about this??just nothing??
do we all have to accept it???or what else???
interesting point of discussion here...any comments??

by the way...in this you tube..the Bellammy Brothers sing..
about an old hippie...45 years of old...I think they made a mistake...:(
    I don't even feel old..and I'm 66..:mickey:

I refer to the year Kenny and I visited the UK & Europe as 'the year I saw no sun'. We left San Franciscu before the 'winter' rainy season was quite over and except for a couple of days in Brussels it was either overcast or raining the whole time I was in Londen and Wales. We arrived home back in SF just in time for the start of rainy season lol

I would love to send you some of our heat. I just do not do heat well. I am fine in fall, winter and spring (although we did not have much of a winter or spring here) We did not get much snow cover this year so we started off headed toward drought. We started having hot weather in March this year.
we are way below where we should be in terms of rainfall. :sunny:

Then again I am sure that the people in Florida would love to send all the water they got to Colorado and other places with fires. And those in Colorado would love to get that water.

The weather lately is definitely screwed up.

"Global Warming" or the more recent term "Climate Change"... This always comes up in discussion threads and quickly turns into arguments about "Who caused what"

Personally I'm tired of the argument... I've yet to hear anybody come up with a good idea about how to deal with what's coming down the road rather quickly... Like, where's a good place to be?

that's about right what you said there,specs...
I recall my time in India when I stayed with my wife to be in Jaipur..
it never rains there..and when it did...the kids went nuts..
and thought it was a miracle..why climates in the world, time zones etc..
get so messed up nowadays???what's the reason??
I've been in a discussion lately with someone..
who believes in the 5th dimension??
meaning...it's gonna be over soon with all of us in this crazy world...:(
and I for all...will be the last to agree with that...
Maya calendar...5th dimension...they fuck my brains..
I bloody do not accept it...and I do not believe in it either...
another discussion point...we're getting there in this house...

@tyrsons..a good place to be...where,my friend??

Sadly, a good place to be at the moment is indoors, with either a heater, a fire, or air conditioning, whatever you need to stay comfortable. All leaving a carbon footprint and probably making things worse!

Old Tiger - Thanks for the education on Kratchbal. That's a cool game.

Kenny - I haven't been able to find out any more on the child that may have died yesterday at a ballpark. I'll post it if I'm able to. I don't know the town. My daughter isn't from here originally and she hadn't heard of the town before so she couldn't remember it.

Welcome, Mama Peace...it's never too late to join! :D

Welcome to Pensfan13 too. I agree with you...a mountaintop would be just fine with me.

Ooooh! I am home alone tonight and I was reading ghost stories online when suddenly the door upstairs slammed! I nearly jumped out of my skin. Now I know perfectly well that it's because the window is open and a bit breezy outside, but my heart is still hammering. Enough ghosts for now, I think.

    Anyone else home?

I ever encountered made haste to move on wben sternly told to do so. The fact that I have a Welch greatgrandma who on her death bed could place her hand on a 500lb safe and have it float 6" off the floor might...... Just tell them to take a hike and stand your ground.

Mama Peace, relax and hang out folks should be coming home soon.
