I am back after being without power for 8 hours. Can't complain because lots of people are still without power from yesterday. Sure is nice being able to run the fans though and get back on the :computer: for a bit.

Walked Grace at the cemetery and lots of trees were hit and branches down. Yesterday during the storm I had this thought that a certain tree was hit. Believe it or not that tree was hit. :bigcry: They even had caution tape up around it. Stranger than science.

Hey just back from the pub. There was a really good local band on and we had a great time for no more than the cost of a couple of drinks. Proper real ale (which I don't drink, but everyone else liked it!) and loads of hippies in the pub as well.

I don't mind cooking.... It's just that burned grilled cheese sandwiches just don't appeal to that many people.

I don't eat onions... But Grilled cheese and hot peppers is great. Over here a "Grilled cheese" is a cheese sandwich that is grilled with butter until golden brown... Hopefully. :rofl:

I spent the day watching the triplets. I'm glad. Their house has air conditioning
Our high temperature today was 111 degrees fahrenheit. My oldest granddaughter played 4 softball games in a tournament today. It was 104 degrees where she played. She isn't even 10 years old yet. When her mom brought her home this evening she sunk into the couch and I went over and stroked her hair. She bursted out crying. I just held her in my arms and let her cry for a few minutes. That pour baby was exhausted physically and emotionally.

Now, it's Ramen Noodle time.

 

Anyone else like it with nutrional yeast? Kenny about veggie tempora and seaweed salad?
