*sigh* ...and here I was hoping that the nonsensical bickering from the other threads wouldn't permeate into this one, which is optimistically titled "Happy Feet".

Beach Bum, that's probably the best barefoot experience, and it's one of the only "universal" barefoot experiences, because I think everyone has been barefoot, with their toes buried in the sand. And yeah, it is the best!

Here are pictures of my feet (swimming in pants) on the snow outside my house. I was out and about in the snow for 20 minutes! I love being barefoot in the snow!

Cool, HippieFreak. I've done a few barefoot hikes in the snow this winter in the woods when it wasn't too cold. I'm able to hike one to two hours in snow and without bringing any shoes with me. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's invigorating and different.
