I'm ordering some gold body paint, and am fashioning a worthy tail out of three kitty cat tails from the Halloween store.

I got the outfit to go with it today, and I found a Thor outfit which is actually pretty right on.

I take Halloween pretty seriously.

 

On the radio this morning there was a mention of a group of people who wish to have it moved to the Saturday before permanently and ignore when it actually falls.

Their argument was that it would be easier for parents to take their little ones trick or treating.

I sat and shook my head. Part of the fun for children is the mad rush to get dressed and their faces all done and to pretend to eat something healthy so that they can get into their goodies as soon as possible. I don't think the day of the week matters much when you get a sack of candy.

Around here it is pretty much over by 8 pm. Sad that is such an issue with grown ups.
