Cold temps play a big factor in the color of buds. usually resulting in a purple color. though there are strains out there that just naturally turn colors.

 

ive heard of weed for 400 an O, and i think thats ridiculous...that means that guy is buyin bulk too low in the chain or something...theres always better for cheaper somewhere.... i wouldnt pay over 350, and it better be the best shit ive ever seen...but there is a strain called purps, and it looks like that....not really purple, but maybe some stray purple hairs and some slight tinges if u really wanna see them...lol

you can force a plant purple and that means nothing sometimes weed is weed.. Good weed is just better weed...

 

Yeah I was just pointing out that there are lots of factors that decide the color or tint of a plant and it doesn't always mean it's any better than some other dank shit.

 

400 is outrageous...I can get an O of primos for $200-$250. I was paying $120 a half o every week last summer. Different strain each week, variety is the spice of life afterall. I should mention I'm from Canada.

 

^^^That does make a difference. I live in the Georgia, so $350-400 per ounce is pretty common.
