I think looking down occurs, out of respect, when after greeting, you cannot focus on the beauty of the person but only on a particular part. Eye level communication occurs when you are embracing the other, with your attention, in the now.
Yup...well yes its just the rude obvious leering that i think cross the line! of course i dont mind if a guy just checks me out, i do find it very flattering, and i even check out guys too of course. and im not talking about ALL the guys. Yes, Im only 16 (well i just turned 17 last week!) so i dont apperiate the guys who are double my age leering at me or saying things. and someone said 'well girls try to sexualize their breasts' well they only do prolly cuz they want attention, because they KNOW guys pay attention to that in the first place. So its not like the girls sexualize their breasts FIRST for no reason..its because first and before all, guys already paid attention to boobs anyways. So girls would just sexualize them b/c they know thats what guys like. If that makes any sence, i cant explain it! But i mean, i dont want to like blame all guys! Ill try not too! Guys are human too , lol! And to agree with some posters, no matter what im wearing, i still get the leers. even if im wearing my ugly pjs! And also i will dress for the weather, like shorts and tanks - and i dont care. And yea, girls do tottaly check out guys sometimes, but I bet if a girl would say sexually things to the guy or whatever - the guy will label them a slut. I guess SOME guys will rudely leer but i guess ive learned to deal with it. I usualy just make the ugliest face I can and they usually give me a weird look, then look away. Or just pop my eyes out real big and stare at them back, and they turn away. If guys say anything, I just ignore it. But yea, im not tottaly agaisnt all guys or anything, guys are cool but you know what i mean when i say some guys who just obviously and rudely undress you with their eyes are the ones i find annoying!
Don't girls like it when you stare even a little? Why would girls were such revealing stuff unless they were trying to show off some of their stuff?
I think you should wear whatever you want, regardless of judgment from others. It's the way you think about yourself that really matters.
