very true. that is a sad reality. quite possibly why many people spend a good portion of their free time here. i wonder how many of them were latchkey keys or in other similar situations growing up.

my mom was a single mother and she is an engineer. before she got her degree we were on fdic for a year. It's good for your kids, your situation it shows them that they can get whatever they want through hard work and education. I'm a really hard worker and very savvy and aware of how things work because of the duality of my chilhood.
